Scams offering fake Au Pair positions

This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam.

From: "Gary COOK" <[email protected]>

Dear Au Pair,

We are a fast paced family that really value a relaxed time when we
are home together (this doesn’t mean we need you to do everything
while we are out) This means that we want you to be relaxed and happy
around us and to contribute to the family group and we definitely will
treat you as part of the family.

My boy is very good, loving and caring; but he plays too much. He
loves being active and outside but also can sit and read or draw
inside, Play with trains or cars and play on the computer. He is very
intelligent but we do not push them to achieve, he is a child and he
is meant to have fun. He loves swimming, riding their bikes and going
to the park. In the summer he loves splashing in the paddling pool and
bouncing on the trampoline - activities you HAVE to join in with!
There is a college within walking distance if you need to attend
language classes - in fact everything is pretty much within walking
distance - although we have a bicycle you are welcome to use and if
you can drive we will provide you with our second car.

We are a Fun loving family with a delightful boy (5 and we) are
looking for a big sister or brother to look after our child.

Our son is loving and bright and really loves exploring all different
things that go on in the world. We are looking for a friendly and
bubbly aupair that would be a part of the family to help get through
the week.

If you are interested, Kindly get back to me with your updated resume
so I can have my lawyer prepare our Contract Offer. Please reply me
via my email: [email protected] wife and I will also love to
know when you will be free to join us. Hope to hear from you soon.

Warm Regards,
Gary Cook

I hope you are doing great? The content of your mail has been noted.
Thank you for your mail which shows your seriousness in my job offer
and my wife and I appreciate that a lot. I own my own firm and my wife
is a health worker. I am a soccer fan, I love Arsenal so much. I also
love watching Barcelona and Real Madrid. My wife loves reading novels
and baking. My son loves basketball and we have a little hoop in our
backyard and we hope you can play with him. We would want to know when
it would be convenient for you to join us. You will not be working on
weekends because my wife and I do not during the weekends unless in
really special circumstances and it’s only then you will be required
to look after my child. We almost always take Theo to school in the
mornings and so need someone to pick him up after school most
afternoons at 3.15pm.He goes to a nearby school and it is 15 minute
walk away. You will need to make tea for him - and us occasionally if
you would like! You need to keep his room tidy, make his bed, dust and
& change the sheets weekly. You need to do his ironing and keep his
clothes neat and tidy. You need to supervise homework and piano
practice and most of all HAVE FUN! We are usually home by 6. I will be
helping you with the cost of your travel papers and I will be paying
your flight ticket for your trip to London. I would love to know when
you will be free to join us. We live in London. I would like to know
when you can come over to London because we would like you to start in
May or June

We are looking for someone to muck in and help out generally as any
member of the family would. You will need to babysit a couple of times
a week and also be happy about us popping back to work in the evening
if you are at home anyway. We need someone to be flexible - as we will
be if you would like to take time off if your family visits or you
have a holiday. When we go on holiday as a family you will usually be
welcome but we can also arrange for you to stay home of you prefer.

Kindly get back to me with your updated CV for perusal so I can have
my lawyer prepare our Contract Offer which will include details of your
salary and accommodation.

Warm Regards,
Gary Cook
