by Tiago Barcelos Sun May 22, 2011 2:44 am
Good evening,

I wonder if the family is real
and if that agency that he sends me the email too
is real.

"I really appreciate you writing me about your coming to take care of my kids. My Daughters' name are Vanessa and Wendy .. They are cool kids who love to be around people always. You work from Mondays to Fridays while my wife and I are at work. You Can Stay up to 6months and above. I will like you to email the agency who Will Be Responsible for processing your aims.
His name is David Loredo and his email address is [email protected]. Email him and he Will let you know what to do next about your intended processing. And let me know whatever he says .. Thanks

Richard "

Thank you very much

Hello Tiago Barcelos, and welcome to ScamWarners.

Yes, that is a scam. You can see this confirmed in the third post here:

If you are looking for an au pair position in the USA, please see this US Government website to read the real information about the US Au Pair Program:

I'm glad that you were suspicious about this!

Hi there, and welcome to scamwarners :D

I was wondering whether you received an email coming from aupairagency.info? If that is the case, please forward me a set of headers so we can get that domain closed down :) If you are unsure what headers are or how to find them, let us know which email provider you use and we'll explain. Those headers contain the evidence we need. Thanks!

If you didn't receive a mail from them there's no need to contact them yourself, the best thing for you is to just break off all contact with them.

Great! Now all I need are the headers. This is how to find headers in Gmail:

*Open the mail
*In the top right, next to 'reply', there is a small triangle. Click that
*Select 'Show original'

A new tab window will open with the headers. Please copy the complete thing and post it here (or send them to my email adress). Thanks!
