The scammer wants you to contact the fake travel agency. The fake agency will tell you that you have to send money to get your "travelling papers."

Phone numbers that start with 4470 or 44070 are redirect phone numbers that can be forwarded to phones all over the world. African scammers in Africa or Malaysia use these numbers when they are pretending to be in UK. A person who really lives in UK would not have a number that starts with 44-70. Any time you see a 4470 or 44070 number, you can be certain you are dealing with a scammer.

You can find more information about 44-70 numbers here: http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16485

Dearest Aupair

We are working Family. We live in UK. We live very close to tube station which takes you to city (london) centre in 20 min. I am looking for a friendly aupair who is flexible and hardworking. We have lovely daughter(Lina) and I am looking for a caring, kind person who knows how to handle kids. Aupair will have her own room but has to share bathroom with my daughter. There is a TV in the aupair's room. There is unlimited internet connection which is available to use. You can bring your own laptop. The aupair has to get Lina ready in the morning and walk her to school. School starts at 8.45am and ends at 3.15pm at which time she will need to be picked up and brought back home. Sometimes she have after school activities where you would be required to take her and stay with her. You will have to cook healthy meals and engage in healthy activities with her before putting her to bed at 7:30pm. You will also assist her in doing their school homework and reading before bedtime. The house work will involve washing and ironing and keeping the house clean and tidy. During school holidays you will be responsible to look after her full time. Pork and alcohol is not allowed in the house.

Thanks and we hope to hear from you soon, with your resume and pictures.

Another 4470 number. That alone is enough to tell you it is a scam.

But this script has also been used before. A quick search led me to a job posting here:
http://www.4familycare.com/job_info.php?dz=68103

I have marked in red where the scammer copied the exact same words, changing the city and number of children. This is also certain proof of a scammer.
I am a working mum. I live in NSW in Sydney. We live very close to tube station which takes you to city (Sydney) centre in 20 min. I am looking for a friendly aupair who is flexible and hardworking. I have 2 kids and I am looking for a caring, kind person who knows how to handle kids. Aupair will have her own room but has to share bathroom with kids. There is a TV in the aupair's room. Hello Tiago,

Regarding the first scam mail above, the one which begins:

Hello I am very happy you are interested in taking care of my kids also thank you for the brief introduction of yourself as you are welcome to my family.I promise you will have a nice time with my family. We live in Sussex not too far from the Gatwick Airport

Please could you post which name and email address the scammer used when sending you this mail? This scammer has previously used the fake name Maureen Collins, are they still using that name?

You can see an identical scam mail from Maureen Collins in the second post here:

viewtopic.php?f=42&t=18021

In the second email, from Family Taffe/Mr Taffer Jones, notice the second telephone number:

+4470318411932

This scammer used the same telephone number when he was pretending to be called Mr Ben Ramson. You can see this here:

viewtopic.php?f=34&t=15733

I am in the Office right now and would try to contact you via phone or you can reach me on +4470318411932 you start doing the needful

We wait to recieve you when you arrive. God bless you as you come

Respectfully,
Mr Ben Ramson
For the family.

Again, could you please post the email address which this scammer used when pretending to be Mr Taffer Jones - this will be so helpful to other au pairs who google the email address; they will be able to come here, discover that this is a scam, and avoid having their money stolen by this thief.
