Scams offering fake Au Pair positions

The posting looks legitimate. Are you registered with AuPair website?

Try finding more details through AuPair, which is the way legitimate aupair vacancies work, not by mass mailed emails from the person.

Although, as John says above, this profile looks quite normal, that does not prove that it is not a scammer.

However, there are actually very strict regulations about the way to become an au pair in the United States.

If you are looking for an au pair position in the USA, please read these US Government webpages about the US Au Pair Program:

You will need to follow those rules - which do not include making arrangements with an individual host family.

100% scam.

The author of that letter is African, not American, and "she" also makes other key mistakes that prove it a scam beyond a doubt.

That copy-and-pasted scam mail has been used before, with minor alterations. You can see it in second emails here:
