Yes, this is a scam. This scammer has previously called themself many fake names, including James Smith, Angelina Alfred, and Casey Clifford. All of these fake host families pretend that Roselin Brenda of [email protected] is their previous au pair. You can read about these scams from here:

I'm glad that you were suspicious about this person. There is no real au pair position to offer to you - it is all a scam, aiming to steal money from you.

Please will you post the email address which the fake Maureen and Christman Robertson used - this will be useful for the other au pairs which this scammer has also contacted.
