Hello Scamwarners,

Greetings! I would like to ask if is this Au Pair Agency named Au Pair Seeker with their website http://www.aupairseeker.com a legitimate one? And also this Australian host family Aaryn Haden who is supposed to hire me as her new Au Pair. Her email address is [email protected]. She referred me to this agency. I hope you can help me. Thank you.

The website is a few months old, and is registered for the minimum of 1 year. The owner has chosen to hide behind a privacy protection service, which you would not expect for a legitimate business of this kind. Just a quick check on the testimonials on that site show they are copied from other sites.

I'll have our site killers check it out further, but in the meantime, I wouldn't trust anything or anyone connected to that site. If you post the letters you received from "Amy" we can verify whether they are consistent with au pair scammers.

Hello,

How are you doing, Guess you are fine.

I got an email too and a call from the agency that I should make the transfer of 5720 AUD for your application fees, Programme fees, medical insurance and Security deposit on your behalf.

I was told that the application fee is 220 AUD; the programme fees also 500 AUD, security deposit of 5,000 AUD in case of any breach of contract from me and any eventualities regarding medical health, salary outstanding etc . I also need to make provision for the travel insurance too, etc. The security deposit is a lot, but I have no choice.

All these will guarantee an immigration approval, once the approval is out, the issuance of visa will be easy. The agency will forward the immigration approval to the Australian Embassy in your country of residence for endorsement. They will also forward you copies of all the documents for interview there.

I will be sending the money to the agency now & the details of the transfer of payment will be made available to the agency, more so I will do what is necessary of me to do. I am currently not in around.

I will keep you updated immediately I read back from them. I am at work now at the outskirts of the city and very busy time.

I will be hoping for the best now.

Take cares always

Bye...Aaryn.
