(2)A scanned copy of your passport.

The UK Border Agency is responsible for securing the United Kingdom borders and controlling immigration in the United Kingdom. We manage border control for the United Kingdom, enforcing immigration and customs regulations. We also consider applications for permission to enter or stay in the United Kingdom, citizenship and asylum.

Disclaimer:

The UK Home Office wishes to authoritatively inform applicants seeking for immigration status into the United Kingdom not to make any payments for processing of Work Permit, Visa and/or Expatriate Quota Approval. Approval for entry (Visa) into the United Kingdom is executed by the Nearest British Embassy or Consulate within the applicants country of residence or location after regulation and certification of the applicant by the UK Home Office as at the time of application.

The UK Home Office will exercise its full powers to perform its responsibility to regulate entry into the UK, by:

•Ensuring that the sponsor is financially capable to support the applicant entering the United Kingdom for Business or Pleasure throughout the duration of the validity of the Entry Visa.

• Ensuring that the applicant, has the minimum stipulated financial requirement to earn the needed points for Visa Approval, going by the new point-based system for immigration in 2011

• Ensuring that the applicant is eligible to Live, Work and carry out business activities in the United Kingdom legally.

The new points-based system (PBS) is the biggest shake up of the immigration system for 45 years.Under the new system, migrants will need to pass a points-based assessment before they receive Certificate of Eligibility and permission to enter or remain in the United Kingdom. It will help British businesses recruit the skills it needs from abroad and assure the British public that only the skilled migrants will need to come to the United Kingdom. The role of employees/migrants with qualifying financial base is crucial to its success.

Before the issuance of Certificate of Eligibility to you for issuance of Visa by Local British Consulate, you are required to show proof that the stipulated financial requirement/applicant travel allowance as indicated above is available. The UK Home Office would ensure via this means that only eligible applicants who are financially capable are allowed entry into the United Kingdom.

CONFIRMATION/PROOF OF SUFFICIENT FUNDS

This step must be completed by any one you wish to stand in as your next of Kin. As per UK Immigration policies, an individual must be aware of your travel to the United Kingdom. This can be your Mother or Father or Brother or Sister or Close Relative or friend and is at your discretion.

To meet the above requirement your selected next of kin is required to make a deposit of the stipulated financial requirement of £850GBP via any Western Union/Money Gram agent using the following format :

(mhil diana)

Payout Location: Your intended residential address in the UK(eg;Your employers address in the contract letter or any address you have here in UK)

Payout Country: United Kingdom

Note: You must ensure that the senders name is the above as instructed and the receiver is you for security reasons and as the primary sponsor of your immigration into the United Kingdom.

Payout Location: Your intended residential address in the United Kingdom. It is not compulsory that you must use the residential address of your Employer which is also your residential address. If you have an alternative residential address here in United Kingdom, you can also use that. However it is advisable if this is your first time to travel to United Kingdom, to use your employers residential address which is also your address.

Payout Country: United Kingdom

Note: Ensure that the receiver is you so that only you can withdraw the deposit after the verification of deposit has been carried out, as the Home Office would not be liable for loss. This is not a payment but a deposit for verification which is why it is in your name as the receiver and to also fulfill that you have funds to support yourself when you arrive here till you receive your first salary from your Employer.

Application Checklist: You are to send the following application requirements:

* Courier Address for Shipment of Hard Copies of your Certificate of Eligibility and other documents.

I'm sorry to say this is not real. It is a scam.

The English tells me that this particular one was written by an African.

There is no such thing as Confirmation of Basic Travel Allowance. It is something that is made up by scammers.

The real UK border agency will not instruct anyone to send money to ANYONE by Western Union or Moneygram. To verify your financial status, the real UK border agency simply makes sure you have sufficient money in your bank account (and you would not email your bank account info to anyone either).

The scammer simply intends to steal the £850GBP. He wants you to think that since your name is on the transaction, it is safe. It isn't. With the information on the transfer, the scammer will be able to collect your money and walk away with it. We see this happen every day.

Could you please post the email address used by the fake Home Office (that email address is also owned by the scammer)?

Any time you are given a phone number that starts with 4470 or 44070, you can be certain that you are dealing with a scammer. These are redirect numbers that are forwarded to phones somewhere else in the world. Scammers use them when pretending to be in UK, when they are really in Africa or Malaysia.

Dear Au pair,

We are an American family currently residing in the UK. I currently working with Red Carnation Hotels here in the UK, our work is so demanding and we need a friend for our son. We saw your profile on aupair-options.com and decided to contact you on the possibility of becoming our new family member. We are looking for someone who likes to do their own thing and doesn't have a problem staying home, although there is a car here for you.

We have had an Au pair before and it was wonderful, she had to leave because of her mother's medical condition. David our son is so much fun and his energy at his age is adorable. You will have the chance to really impact his life since he is so impressionable now. We are only interested in hiring someone who is willing to work in the UK.

All Travel expenses shall be borne by us and we shall also provide fully furnished live in or live out accommodation. Write us soonest with your picture/resume, introduction and how soon you can start as we need a Au pair that can start as soon as possible.

You can contact us via email - [email protected] or call me on +44 702 409 4777 or give me a direct mobile number to reach you with so that we can discuss further.

ON note just to add. A CONSULTANT CARDIOLOGIST would not be called Dr. XXXXX, he would be Mr.XXXX
BH23 7- IS NOT A POST CODE IN THE UK

Hi!
Personnally, I received an email from Liz McGivern as Jim Morgan, Human Ressources Director of Hotel Marriott California:

"You received a message from Mcgivern liz (profile number 16900).
You can see his profile here : http://www.aupairplacement.com/displayp ... erid=16900

Here is the message :

---------------------------------

Dear Au pair,

We are an American family, my name is Jim Morgan working with Marriott hotel California as the marketing director of human resources. I am a single father of two daughters. A 5-year-old and 3-year-old. They are great girls and easy to take care of. After living in Oregon for 6 years, we have recently had to move to Los angeles, California due to my promotion. Use of one of my cars is allowed,if you need or want and a monthly bus pass would be available, I will provide all utilities and food inside the home.

The beach is only about 7 blocks from my home and you can walk to almost everything. If this is something that might interest you please send us a short bio and picture of yourself and why you might be perfect for this opportunity. Also, their grandmother might have them some of the time and this would also give you more time off during the day. You should only have to work about 35-45 hours a week and you will have all weekends off and almost every evening and night off. The care of my daughters is very important to me, this is why I don't want to just take them to daycare or a babysitter.

I believe in consistency and a lot of attention is worth the extra effort. We have a house cleaner that comes at least once a week and another that comes on most Mondays and helps with the children and cleans - so there is no heavy cleaning. The cleaning ladies clean the floors, change the beds, vacuum, clean the bathrooms.

You are or might be a good match if you:Are still reading this ad and it interests you?
You are independent and very trustworthy?
If you are a hard worker and trust worthy.
You have good morals and manners? (Thinking role model for my daughters).
You really enjoy nice weather and going to the beach at least twice

a week and going to parks and picnics, the zoo, etc.
You would rather take my daughters for a walk on the beach or ride on the

Kayak instead of sitting inside and watching TV.
Like nap time.
Like to have tea parties.
Don't mind roughing it.
Naturally domestic, likes to cook, clean and keep a tidy house.
Loves to do arts and crafts and play dress up.
You believe in making everyday a good day.

Above all else an ideal fit is Naturally Loving and truly cares for children. My Kids are very affectionate and love being held and always welcome a great big hug.

All Travel expenses shall be borne by us and we shall also provide fully furnished live in or live out accommodation. Write us soonest with your picture/resume, introduction and how soon you can start as we need a Au pair that can start as soon as possible.

You can contact us via email - [email protected] or call me on +1 323 522 5498 or give me a direct mobile number to reach you with so that we can discuss further.

Best Regards

Morgan Jim"

Unofrtunately, there is an error in his email adress, because this hotel is Marriott and not Marriot ^^
Becareful!!

marriothotelusa.com is fake and will be reported - Michael
by Dotti Tue Oct 11, 2011 1:26 pm
It's not a typo--the scammer has registered a fake domain very similar to the real marriott hotel domain, in hopes that it will convince people he is really associated with the hotel. Many people won't notice the difference in spelling.

Domain Name: MARRIOTHOTELUSA.COM

Carla, if you received any emails from anyone at the marriothotelusa.com address, could you please post the headers from one of them? It will help our site killers to get that fake killed.
