I believe 100% it is a scam but I am checking further. Ruth Milton and email address do not show as any information available. If you are not in EU then you can't get visas as au pair to be in UK. See border Agency website. If you are Filipino you have absolutely no chance. Remember do not send your passport to anyone except recognised government agencies. Scammers often ask for a photocopy or scan of passport and pretend that's OK, BUT ACTUALLY ONLY THE ORIGINAL WILL DO TO GET A VISA. Don't believe any one who claims they have a magic visa getting wand, be it lawyer, agent, employment agency etc and don't send money in advance using Western Union or Moneygram since that is ALWAYS A FRAUD, and the moment you see that request then you should see that it is a scam- at once .
It seems to be a phishing scam in the hope you will respond back and be set up for a fraud attempt.
What is the Face book link?

As Began said, if the host family is in UK, then it is a scam. UK has a very short list of countries from which it will accept au pairs. Mexico is not on that list. If you are Mexican, then by law, you cannot get a visa to become an au pair in UK.

Which countries are participating in the Youth Mobility Scheme?

So far, only Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco and New Zealand (countries listed in Appendix G to the Immigration Rules) have joined the YMS. However, you are also eligible to apply if you are a British Overseas Citizen, British Overseas Territories Citizen or a British National (Overseas).

The IP address of Donald Cookery, who Ruth Milton introduces as a host family, shows that 'Donald Cookery' is really living in Nigeria. You can see an example of his introductory scam mail here:

Donald Cookery

Ruth Milton is also fake, and is part of the same scam.
