This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam.

Subject: Aupair/Nanny Needed for my kids

Hello,

My name is Lee Derick ................... I live in United
Kingdom,i have a wife and two lovely kids, (ages 4 and 6). My wife
owns a shopping mall and i work as a Pilot... I travel alot due to the
nature of my job.

We are looking for a caring and loving Au pair who will take care of
our kids in our absence. I want an Au pair who is
caring, loving, understanding, trustworthy, truthful and most of all God
fearing. I will like an English spoken Au pair but if the Au pair does
not speak English,i will be paying for an English course for you here
in London.

You will be doing some light house work, plus making food for the kids
and taking them to school. You will be working from Mondays to
Fridays, you will have two days off which will be on Saturdays and
Sundays (care for my son and daughter from 7 am - school at 8:00 a.m,
Walk my kids to school and pick them up again at 3:15. care for my
kids from 3:15- approx 6:30 including feeding them)... I will be
paying you 550 British Pounds and 50 pounds every two weeks,i hope it
is okay by you...

My kids are very fun to be with, you are gonna have lots of fun with
them, but they can be a little naughty at times lol. Have a nice day,
God bless your home. Awaiting a quick response from you...

Here are some more emails from this scammer. The agency is fake and is part of the scam.

If you are a citizen of one of the few countries who are eligible to be an au pair in the UK, and you require a visa, please contact the British Embassy or Consulate in your own country. You can find the genuine British Embassy website for your country here:

http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-liv ... n-embassy/

Note that a genuine British Embassy email address will always end with @fco.gov.uk (and with no words or abbreviations after that).

Do not send money to any agency, embassy, lawyer, or other person introduced to you by a potential host family. If you wish to consult the UK Border Agency, do not use an email address or website address given to you by your host family, but go to the genuine website here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/

You can see the genuine UK Border Agency email addresses and telephone numbers here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/conta ... ctcentres/

Please notice that the genuine UK Border Agency email addresses end with @ukba.gsi.gov.uk - and, again, with no words or abbreviations after that.

Hello

Thanks for your mail, i am so happy to hear from you... I
am glad that you are ready and willing to work here for my family. I
will like you to come take care of my kids and come take the stress of
us. I will like to know if you have a valid Uk Visa but if you don't I
will have to recommend you to an Agency here in London
([email protected]),who will be responsible for the
process of your traveling papers to get here. This agency helped my
last Au pair in securing her visa and documents to get here in London.

I was so sad seeing my last Au pair leave; Miss Blessing, who has been
with us for 2 years now. She had to leave because her sister passed
away. We really had fun with her especially the kids. We didn't have
any problem with her because she was of good behavior. let me know
what did Agency says

You are gonna have access to your own private room, bathroom and
toilet. Plus it's gonna be live in.

I will like to know how long you wanna stay and work here for me?

Now i want you to write to the travel agency here in London ,they
will assist you in securing your visa and documents to get here and
make sure you get back to me with an update from them.

I told the kids about you, they are very nervous and can't wait to
meet you here in London. Do you have a cell phone number? I will like
to speak with you on phone. Have a nice day and God bless you.
Awaiting a quick response from you...

Regards,

The following email is sent to au pairs who are from a European Economic Area country and do not require a visa to be an au pair in the UK. Once again, the lawyer is fake, and is part of the scam.
