A definate scam!!!

Hi there
I recently registered on an au pair site, and was almost immediately contacted by a so-called Alfred Anthony, with a to good to be true employment offer. I started checking out the details, of which none checked out. I was also baffled by this person's English and a variety of other little details. Eventually he sent me a contract from a lawyer Barr. Harrison Williams, which I punched into google, and voilla! There it was...scam at it's best. I herewith add the copy and paste versions of his communication. I can also forward the contract and photographs that he emailed to me if you wish? Hope we can spoil his fun for a bit!

conversation is really becoming a fruitful one and we are happy that
you will be joining my family soon.

Maybe the error or mistake is from the site Administrative, because
what i registered in my profile is only 3 family members which
includes me, my wife and Rose that is all so i think it was an error
from the site.

As i have told you my Lawyer works with UK Border Agency as a
representative that is why i have involved him so that he will prepare
all your necessary travel documents here in UK legally then get back
to you with the Hard copies for you to come down here legally, infact
he knows the needed documents that will enable you travel down to UK,
because they manage immigration,Visa and Border.

Don't worry by tomorrow which is the 12th of September your contract
letter offer of employment will be ready and it has been approved by
UK Home Office so i will get back to you with the letter by tomorrow
so that you will sign it and get back to the Lawyer with the signed
copy to enable him activate your file and start the processing of your
travel documents.

We decided to terminate our profile on the Au pair site because there
were a lot of applicants sending us mails and adding us to their
favorite and hot list so my wife advised me to terminate our profile
there since we have already find you and has taking you as one of us.

With regards to the Skype conversation an so sorry but my job here
take a lot of my time so i don't have Skype and it is not possible for
me to communicate with you through Skype because of the time factor, i
work as the Assistant manager of Unilieval Company here in UK so it
takes a lot of my time, within this period i just had time to search a
lovely Au pair as required by my wife who will be like a big sister to
Rose and God fearing.

Letter for you to go through. If you accept, you would have to sign

Like i told you, do not bother your self on how you will travel down
to London, My lawyer that works with the UK border Agency will help
you with your traveling documents, his email is

letter and i will be going to his office as soon as possible.

Send him an E mail with a copy of the signed contract letter and he
will get in touch with you so that you can travel down legally to
resume your duties with us.

Tell him the date you are available to come and the Air port where you will
like to fly from so as to enable him booked your Flight immediately
without any delay and i will pay for the Flight cost.

I don't think there is much to add to your assessment with the usual collection of forwarding numbers outside the UK, and Barristers working outside chambers in menial jobs. Terrible English even for a mugu. Barristers never arrange visas or have a hotlink to getting visas. It's a good one for the links via Google to here and will help others getting scammed. Could you also post the email address which 'Alfred Anthony' is using? Au pairs often google the email address of their prospective host family, and it would be so useful to them if it linked to this warning that it is a scam.

Scammers often re-use the same photographs for their fake host families, so it is also helpful to others to show which photos they are using. You can find instructions for posting photos here:

Scammers sometimes use photographs of models, but mostly they use stolen photographs which they have downloaded from innocent people's social or personal websites, so please make sure to block out or otherwise disguise the faces of the children in all photographs, to protect their identities.
