This email was not sent from the UK; it was sent from Nigeria, as proven by the IP address: 41.206.15.25 - Ibadan, Nigeria.

The telephone numbers, like all telephone numbers which begin +4470, are not normal UK numbers; they are 'redirect' numbers, which redirect all calls to a mobile phone almost anywhere in the world. In this case, they will redirect calls to the scammer's mobile phone in Nigeria.

The solicitor/attorney is also fake, and is part of the scam.

If an au pair does not have academic certificates to send to the scammer, s/he is likely to receive an email similar to this:

Since you do not have your academic certificate, then you have to sign the offer letter and send it to the solicitor with your passport photograph and your international passport if you have it. And the inform the solicitor that i request her to accept the documents and proceed with you.

VACATION:

Employer agrees to allow employee 2 weeks paid vacation to be taken after 4 months of employment.
Employee will be paid full salary if family travels without employee.

HEALTH INSURANCE:

Health insurance is to be paid by the employer.

AUTOMOBILE/AUTO INSURANCE:

Automobile will be provided for regular use without need for employer's permission.
Auto insurance will be paid by the employer.

SCHOOL:

You will be enrolled at a Public School to attend a course in any language of your choice for foreigners for the duration of your stay if you so wish.
