Hello guys,

I received this mail by Susan Flaherty and I'd like to know your opinion.
It's very short and the e-mail adress is not fitting in the name, so does it mean that's a scam?

Yes, it is a scam.

All scammers sometimes use different 'Sent From' addresses to their 'Reply To' addresses. They send out many many emails at the same time, and the 'Sent From' address may be closed down by the account provider for suspected sending of spam or scams. The emails sent by the fake Susan Flaherty have a different 'Reply To' address, so that if the 'Sent From' address is closed, the scammer will still receive replies from au pairs.

Sometimes the 'Sent From' address is faked, or is not really one of the scammer's own email addresses.

More importantly, though, this scammer does not write like an American would write and, also, a family in the USA is not permitted, by immigration law, to directly engage an au pair.

Here is another email sent from this scammer. It was not sent from the USA; it was sent from Nigeria, as proven by the IP address: 41.206.15.27 - Lagos, Nigeria.
