His telephone number, like all telephone numbers beginning +4470, is not a normal UK number; it is a 'redirect' number, redirecting all calls to a mobile phone almost anywhere in the world. In this case, it redirects all calls to the scammer's mobile phone in Nigeria.

Now that you realise that it is a scam, please drop all contact with the fake host family and the fake travel agency - scammers are criminals, and this criminal will have real details about you, and could use this information to harass you if he discovers that you have been playing along with him. If you simply stop writing, however, he will assume that you have either lost interest, or have discovered that it is a scam, and he will soon forget about you.

Please also be aware that a citizen from the Philippines is unable to become an au pair in the UK. At this present time, a a person is only permitted to go to the UK to be an au pair if they are a citizen of the European Economic Area, British Overseas Territories, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or Monaco.
