Position Reference: Nanny
CONTRACT LETTER
We would like to offer you the position of Nanny/Aupair to our
Daughter
for a minimum period of 12 Months. The terms and conditions of
the job
are as follows:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To provide childcare up to 6 hours per day, 5 days per week
while you
shall have 2 days off per week.
2. To plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for our
daughter.
3. To plan and carry out activities to encourage social, physical,
emotional and intellectual development of our daughter.
4. You shall be responsible for making our daughter's bed Monday
to
Friday.
5. You shall be responsible for preparing our daughter's lunch
Monday to friday, breakfast and dinner shall be the responsibility
of her mother.
6. You shall also be responsible for shopping for her and your
groceries,
while we shall provide the money for the shopping.
7. You shall be responsible for dusting, vacuuming of her bedroom
and
playroom.
SALARY:
Employer agrees to pay the employees a weekly salary of $650 per
week.
Salary is to be paid every Monday covering the previous week
wages.
ACCOMMODATION:
Rooms and board will be provided if you opt for live in position,
but in
the case of live out position the employer shall be responsible in
paying
for the rent for the total duration of the commitment period.
You shall have access to private telephone line and computer with
internet connection paid for by the employer.
Both employer and employee will respect the privacy of each other
by
knocking and awaiting invitation before entering any private areas
Employee can make use of the family sitting room and the garden
to
entertain guest, but on no account should employee use the
employer
bedroom for entertainment of guest.
VACATION:
Employer agrees to allow employee 2 weeks paid vacation to be
taken
after 4 months of employment.
Employee will be paid full salary if family travels without
employee.
HEALTH INSURANCE:
Health insurance are to be paid by the employer.
AUTOMOBILE/AUTO INSURANCE:
Automobile will be provided for regular use without need for
employer's
permission.
Auto insurance will be paid by the employer.
SCHOOL:
You will be enrolled at a Public School to attend a course in any
language of your choice for foreigners for the duration of your
stay if you so wish.
START DATE AND PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT:
You are expected to start on the xx of xxxxxber, 2011 to stay
for a
minimum period of 12 months.
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT:
This contract is employment-at-Will. Employer and employee may
terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause, however:
1. If the employment is terminated without cause, the employer is
obliged to provide 4 weeks severance pay.
2. If the employee decides to leave the position with cause, the
employee will provide at least 2 weeks notice.
JOINING US:
VISA:
We shall apply and secure employment Visa on your behalf but you
shall
be responsible for providing all necessary documents , alien
employment certification card, letter of attestation and or any
other documents that may be required for the purpose of issuance
of your visa and work permit.
WORK PERMIT:
Upon your arrival, we shall secure your work permit papers from
the US
immigration office here in California which will enable you to live
and
work legally here in USA.
FLIGHT TICKET:
Your flight ticket shall also be sent to you, a week before your
departure.
You are to provide a working and valid postal address where your
ticket
shall be delivered through a courier service agent, inclusive of the
Hardcopy of your Offer Letter and Certificate of Employment. You
shall
also provide Swift enabled bank account where your two months
upfront
salary will be paid upon your successful completion of all
immigration
formalities. Swift copy of the wire transfer slip shall be send
alongside
with the flight ticket.
REIMBURSEMENT:
You are to bear the cost of processing your alien employment
certification card and certification Affidavit from the California
immigration department and we will duly reimburse you of all the
expenses you incurred upon the presentation of receipt/evidence
to us.
You are required to obtain receipt from the attorney covering any
charges/fees relating to any services in connection to your
relocation here. The First two months upfront salaries shall be
paid in advance before employee embark on journey to assume
duty to enable you offset domestic needs/challenges that might
hinder your relocation to take up job responsibility here.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Visa Information
In compliance with the new immigration law of the state of
California,
which has made it mandatory that every foreign employee must
obtain
alien employment certification card duly endorsed by the
Department of
Labor. In view of the above you are required to make contact with
the
below certified immigration attorney for the purpose of securing
the alien employment certification card . Remember this is
mandatory as your visa and work permit cannot be secured
without this certification. Find below the contact details of the

4. Scanned Copy of Passport Photograph (Colored)
Upon receipt of the above mentioned documents from you we will
liaised with the above immigration attorney to secure your
employment visa and residence/work permit here in USA and will
contact the USA
Consulate in your country and fax all your documents to them to
facilitate your visa.
Within a space of 10 working days your papers will be faxed to the
consulate, we shall notify you on when to go to the Consulate
Office in
your country for the endorsement of your international passport
and
issuance of Visa.
