Hello elenadoina and welcome to ScamWarners. Here we focus on identifying scams - au pair positions that do not really exist, but are invented positions aiming to trick people into sending money to the scammer.
If you suspect that the host father who you are writing to is not genuine, then we can certainly help you with this. As began steele says above, the introductory emails sent by the potential host, plus headers, will enable us to identify whether it is a genuine offer, or a scam.
Scammers do often pretend to be single fathers living in the UK, and sometimes they also pretend to be of non-UK ancestry. This provides them with an 'excuse' for their non-British accent.
Whether or not it is wise or safe to go and live in the household of a genuine single father, however, is not something that we can advise upon. Your best action may be to speak to an older relative about this, and perhaps to discuss it with other au pairs on a dedicated au pair forum.
