Scams offering fake Au Pair positions
by Chris Fuller Sat Nov 26, 2011 3:56 am
This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam. If you are looking for an au pair position in the USA, please read these US Government webpages about the US Au Pair Program:

http://exchanges.state.gov/jexchanges/p ... upair.html

http://j1visa.state.gov/participants/how-to-apply/

Do not send money to any agency, embassy, lawyer, or other person introduced to you by a potential host family.

Au Pair in America is a genuine agency, and one of the US Government's designated sponsor agencies. The email address [email protected], however, is not an email address of the genuine agency - it is another email address belonging to this scammer.

Please note also that genuine au pair agencies do not and cannot obtain your visa for you: you must obtain this yourself, through an application to the US Embassy or Consulate in your own country.

This is an email from the fake agency. It was not sent from the USA; it was sent from South Africa, as proven by the IP address: 41.16.133.119 - Pretoria, South Africa.
