This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam.

The estate caretaker is also fake, and is part of the scam. He does not have an apartment to offer to anyone, and all money sent as a deposit for an apartment will be stolen.

Subject: Further Details
Thanks for the response, we hope to move to our new home in Brent street, London in 2 weeks as soon as we confirm your commitment to work as the next aupair in my family.
We read your reply and once again we will like to repeat to you that we are looking for someone very friendly who is prepared to be part of our family and look after our 2 kids appropriately when we get to London. Your main task will be to care for our adorable kids, Peter and Lilian whose ages are 5 and 7 respectively. Occasionally you will do light household work like cleaning and ironing.
You will take Peter to and from Kindergarten and also to play dates. He would be at nursery for 3 mornings per week at least in the beginning but this will be reviewed.
Peter is easy going and only grumpy when tired. At the same time he needs a lot of attention. Although most of the time he is calm but he can be tricky and he always needs someone to say no whenever he's wrong.
The kids will have their playroom in the house which will have a TV and toys and to keep them relax you will have to encourage them to watch TV i.e. cartoon.
Lilian is a bit troublesome too but very controllable. She likes to sleep most times but only cry when hungry .
You will be working for 40 hours weekly and we hope to pay £12 hourly plus bus ticket worth £67 weekly and we will also provide you with a mobile phone with some inclusive minutes each month and the rest would be your responsibility. We also hope to provide you access to our cars if you have driving experience but not all the time.
We have already secured a home in Brent street, London and all other living arrangement are also intact at the moment and we hope to arrive in London at any date from now.
Your duties which we expect you to discharge perfectly are Getting kids out of bed for a 10 minutes morning exercise by 8am. Getting the kids dressed in the morning. Supervising her breakfast and lunch plus morning and afternoon snacks. Playing with her (age appropriate) to insure at least 60 minutes of exercise (can be split throughout the day). Doing education crafts & activities with her (age appropriate). Ensuring there optimal health and safety during your care. Keeping her room clean and organized. Doing laundry if necessary. Taking the kids to and from school and activities. Supervising play dates.
Do inform us in case you have any objections to this duties and suggesting what we can do about it.
I have not scan my pictures but i will try to do that soon and send them to you and i will like to know your exact arrival date.
Before we proceed further we will still like you to answer these few questions.
1) What is your nationality?
2) Have you ever traveled outside your home country before?
3) Have you much experience working with kid’s?
4) Do you smoke?
5) Do you drink?
6) Do you have brothers and sisters?
7) Do you Drive
8) Do you mind doing light cooking?
9) Can you help with shopping?
10) Can you help with housework?
Hope to hear from you soon.

I am satisfied with your response and i definitely believe you will be a good companion for our kids. Our main priority is for you to be a friendly and kids loving person and with all i have read of you so far i believe you are.
I will like you to confirm the arrival date better and let me know of that in due time so that i can also plan our schedule ahead to pick you up at the airport when you arrived. Mind you try and choose a weekend arrival so that i can be well available to give you every support necessary.
Once again we hope to pay £12 hourly and for 40 hours weekly will be 480 pounds weekly plus bus ticket worth £67 weekly.
I have decided to offer you a very high salary to enable you pay rent and municipal charges and also have some saving while living in London because we are offering a live out aupair job as we don't have provision for a live-in accommodation. We can also help you search a shared accommodation through the same estate caretaker that secured our home in Brent street and get back to you. So do confirm if a shared flat will be fine for you so that we can ask for its availability from the estate caretaker immediately.
As for your stay duration we hope to sign a 3 months contract with you for a start and extend the contract if we are satisfied with your services and if your are also willing to continue working with our family but it is okay if you wish to sign less duration agreement.
Waiting to read from you.
Cheers
