We hope you are doing great. My husband and I came across your profile on http://www.easyaupair.com; we reviewed it and found you a perfect match for our family. My husband is an IT consultant who works from home. We have twins who are still toddlers and their names are Declan and Cillian. They are 11 months old. The oldest is 4 years old, her name is Mary and she goes to school in the week. The youngest my toddlers and I love them so much. My husband is musical and we have a piano. We love going to the zoo, the science museum and reading. I want an au pair who can be part of the family and who is reliable, and has a sunny outlook on life. The kids need someone they can develop a good relationship, who will be staying for at least 3 months. My parents live in the same city; they visit often and spend a lot of time with my family too. Your working hours will be 35 hours a week, week day only, childcare primarily for my youngest twins. Light housework, washing and ironing. It's a scam.

The phone number quoted is a+44 70 redirect number, which would not be used by some one really living in the UK.

Also, the children's names seem to come up again and again in scam emails.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Yes Barnetme it is a scam, no doubt about it. Any time one of those phone numbers beginning with 4470 appears in an email, it's an excellent indication. In case you have not seen it viewtopic.php?f=26&t=13567 gives a better description of these re-direct numbers. And the before mentioned phone number is clearly visible in another Au pair scam dated in November 2011.
