Subject: Au pair

Dear prospective Au-pair,

Hello my name is Sarah, my family are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person, who enjoys working with children and wants to experience life with an English family.
About us: We live in the village of Earith near the city of Cambridge. We recently moved here due to us both starting new careers in the area. I am an Inkjet Engineer and my husband Damian is a Senior Chemist. Whilst we both love our jobs, it is sometimes difficult to maintain our work/ family life balance with such demanding schedules. We would love to have a little bit of extra help and feel that an Au-pair be able to help us enormously. We are a young and easy going family that enjoys spending time together and would hope that you would wish to be included as part of the family too. We have only just exploring the area ourselves but we are surrounded by beautiful countryside and the cities of Cambridge and London are only a short distance away.
We have three Children:
Lucian (Boy) Aged 8 in May. He is a very sweet boy, can be quiet at first but he is fine once he gets to know someone. He enjoys being outside and playing football, games and star wars. He loves animals especially monkeys. He also is a huge Formula One fan, well the whole family is!

Georgia (Girl) Aged 7 in June. She is a very chatty and confident child she really enjoys adult company. She loves reading, writing stories, playing violin and drawing. She also loves dressing up and shopping for clothes and anything girly like that.

Toby (Boy) Aged 5 in June. Toby is the star of the family, he loves dancing and showing off and has a funny sense of humour. He loves playing with his brother and sister and looks up to them. He loves building Lego and playing with trains and cars.

We are very proud of our children they are very independent, confident and very well behaved. They are keen on many activities and are looking forward to having an Au-pair and learning about a different country.

More about the area we live in:
We live in the Village of Earith in a 5 bed roomed townhouse in a private road with three other houses. The House overlooks a river at the back and there are beautiful views of the countryside. It is very large house with four floors, plenty of room for everybody. The village itself is small.
There is a regular bus to towns and surrounding villages and the city of Cambridge. We will provide you with a travel ticket for unlimited travel on the buses.
The closest town is St Ives which is 10 minutes on the bus. This is a beautiful historic town with a good number of shops, leisure facilities, bars and restaurants.
The town of Huntingdon is 25mins on the bus and is a bigger town with more shops.
The City of Cambridge is a very famous historical city 45 minutes on the bus. There is so much to see and do in the city.
The city of London is an hour train journey from Huntingdon.

English schools:
There are many English schools in the area. Cambridge is very multicultural due to the University. We will pay for travel costs to your course.

hope to hear from you

Regards
Sarah, Damian, Lucian, Georgia and Toby.
