Scams offering fake Au Pair positions

This is not a genuine Aupair position. It is a scam. If you receive this email do not reply. The scammer is based in Nigeria, therefore it is not possible that payment for your stay would be in GBP or so high. This is to make the offer better. Also please remember to always be suspicious of +44 70 numbers, they are personal redirects that can be sent from the UK to anywhere in the world. They are commonly used by scammers.


SUBJECT: AN HONEST AUPAIR NEEDED URGENTLY

Dear Au pair,

My Name is Mr CRIS DAVIDSON. I am simply in search of an honest aupair to help me with the upkeep of my lovely son when i am not at home. An aupair/nanny who is willing to stay with us for a minimum of 6 Months or more.

I saw your profile on http://www.apairoption.com and i thought it wise to contact you, to discuss the possibilities of having you as our Au pair/Nanny in the spirit of cultural exchange. We’re a laid-back and happy family.

My son is very easy going and as such you can get along with them easily. Your accommodation would be fully furnished and we would be paying you 850GBP Monthly and 250GBP weekly throughout the duration of your stay with us.

Really I do not no what to say again. This email is from the scammer above. Again, I would like to reiterate that this is not a genuine opportunity but it is a scam.

We have decided to find an Au pair because we need help in taking care
of our child. We are looking for an Au pair to be a big sister/brother to our

we would like you to take him around if you wish.

We will require you to take care of Ben for about 28hrs a week. You
will have weekends free and we will pay you 850 pounds per month
and 250 pounds weekly for pocket money which we will give to you every
Friday.

My family resides at No 24A Ashbourne Grove, East Dulwich, London, SE22 8RL. You will have your own bedroom and your own bathroom either live in or live out
fully furnished , plus deskphone and computer system with internet. We need you to start with us as soon as possible and stay until at least 6 months or more. There is a language school here
where you can attend to

We will need you to drive our second car if you can and we shall
arrange some driving lessons for you when you arrive. You may use this
car for taking Ben around the city.

The fake travel agency is introduced in this email. Once again, it is a scam, do not reply to any email you receive from this scammer.

EMPLOYMENT/INVITATION CONTRACT
CONTRACT FOR: NANNY/AU PAIR

(BRIEF DESCRIPTION)

This Agreement is made between MR. CRIS DAVIDSON (herein referred to as the EMPLOYER) and Eric Shun (herein referred to as the EMPLOYEE). The Contract will be for a Period of 8(Eight) months beginning from January 30th, 2012. By written notice, this appointment may be renewed and will be subjected at all times to satisfactory performance of your assistantship duties and satisfactory progress in your duty.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Your services may be required during the entire period of your Contract, with the exception of your days off/ holidays, which are winter term and spring break.


DUTIES

1. Take care of child
2. Find out about activities in the local area.
3. Undertake activities on a one to one basis with child.
4. Develop speech, reading, numbers, and letters, and colors, social & practical skills.
5. Accepts and agrees to such hiring, engagement, and employment subject to the general supervision and pursuant to the orders, advice and direction of employer.







THE CONTRACT SHALL INCLUDE
The duties listed above will require an average weekly time commitment of 28hrs.
Fringe benefits of this Contract include the participation in the Employers’ Insurance program, medical aids and social security.
The Employee reserves the right to go and visit the family in cases of serious incident or occasion.
No deductions what so ever will be made on the Employee’s salary.
The employee will be give a compassionate leave and sick leave in due time.
If the Employer terminates the job/offer without the Employee’s consent, the Employer will pay 2months salary therein.

SALARY:
Employer shall Pay GBP850 Monthly and shall be paid (every 30th day of the Month) and GBP250 Weekly either by cash or by Check as agreed by the Employee.

VACATION:
Nanny will give employer 1-week notice of any upcoming vacations. Nanny shall be given bonus vacation pay of 150GBP

ACCOMMODATION:
Residence of the Employee shall be in Employers Housing, with Private Bed Room and Sit Out. Fixed Land Line, Internet Ready Computer and Vehicle for Mobility would be provided if needed.

REVIEWS, RAISES, AND GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES:
The employer agrees to review the nanny every 3 months if Employee needs the same and it would be mandatory.

CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS:
In the event of the birth of another child, nanny and employer must discuss first if nanny wishes to continue employment, or if she/he will receive more money per week for the care of the new baby, and how much?

Contract can be amended if both parties agree to do so and also on the satisfactory performance criteria of the Employee (nanny/aupair).

NOTICE OF TERMINATION:
The nanny must give 2 weeks notice of termination in writing. The employer shall give nanny 4weeks notice if his/her services shall no longer be required. If the employers terminate the agreement, employer agrees to pay all wages up to and including nanny last day of work.

If the Employee agrees that (HE OR SHE) will at all times be faithful and ndustrious and to the best of (HIS OR HER) knowledge do all the above mentioned in this Agreement. Then Employee should proceed to sign, scan and email the CONTRACT AGREEMENT to me to signify full acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein.

There's an American show called Teen Mom - the photo's they sent you are of a couple on the show. As I said in one of my earlier posts, if they want to lie, at least do it well. That is why they are caught out. Sadly, there are many that are caught out by them.
