I'm not going to post all the emails - but she pretends to go to the consulate for you and offers to do all the processing of your visa for you [totally untrue, the United States is extremely difficult with their visa applications and no one can do it besides yourself.]

A visa cots $150 [dollars] but she is asking for $1500 - $2000. And additional funds for plane tickets.

She does provide a legitimate adress [if you search on google earth] but it is so easy to use a fake adress, there is no way to verify that the person is actually living there.

So be careful and trust your gut

No need to post all the emails if you don't want to, but could you please post the first? Scammers often reuse that first script when they change names, and sometimes that leads potential victims to discover the truth.

In addition to what you said about US visas-for an au pair visa, you also have to be sponsored by one of the agencies on the US government's official list of approved agencies. Even if a host family finds you on their own, they have to work through one of those agencies for your sponsorship. If you cannot contact one of those agencies (using their official contact information on the US government's website, not a number or email given to you by the supposed employer) and verify that you are sponsored, then there is no legitimate au pair job.
