The following email was received in response to a listing on an Au Pair website. This is a scam, no vacancy exists the scammer will try an scam you out of money by asking for fees or travel costs or accomodation costs.

I will like to introduce myself, Am Daniel Howard I works for a technology company in United Kingdom and my wife Mrs. Janet Howard is a very busy woman because she is Business Development Executive which she don't stay at home regular because of are Nature of her job, and our work do not give us a great chance to spend with our children at home during week days, we will like you to know that our family consists of two children, which name is Kate Howard and Ryan Howard they are boy and Girl they are just aged 5 and 8 years old. We are looking for someone that we can treat as part of my family/friend and not just as a nanny/au pair. We would like our au pair/nanny to be a comfortable care giving partner, companion sister that is caring, flexible, and will have fun with our children. Since am will not around until weekends, we would also love our Au pair to go shopping with us, go out to eat with us, go to the movies with us, participate in family events, go on trips with us we love going to amusement parks, share holidays with us, etc. become a part of my family. We really want someone who will proactively talk, sing, laugh, interact, and engage with our children because our children like to sing and dance so we need a reliable and caring person to look after our two lovely kids, Both of them go to school (8.30-3.00) you will be suppose to help me in morning to get them ready for school and then look after them, when we are not at home You will be expected to help us with household work and cooking. If you are looking for a caring and loving family, you have found the right place! Ours is a very caring family with high human values. We respect people of different nationality and religious.We is looking for someone who can stay for us for long and be a part of our family. I would like the person not to just provide basic care to my boys but help them to grow into good humans, to teach them discipline and respect for others. Our previous au-pairs have enjoyed their stay with us, especially my wife cooking. In our house you don’t have to worry about cooking as my wife love cooking and i am sure you are going to enjoy my wife food. We found of talking, going out walking and cycling. We will be happy to find a friend in you. Our new Au Pair will have her own double bedroom and en suite shower room, TV and DVD player, use of a car with manual gear box will also be provided with petrol allowance and car insurance. Full use of a PC with broadband internet access is also available. and You'll have access in our house which also include internet fancily & phone so that you can keep in touch with your family and friends, our family will paying you 1,500 pounds per monthly and your pocket money is 300 pounds per week for the buying of some things for yourself and our children, because we want the best for our children, And the working hour is just 7 hours per day and your responsibility in my house is just to take care of our children, taking them for shopping, taking them to the school bus will pick them up which is just 2 km ahead from home and the children will go to school from 8:30 to 3:00 pm and you will pick the children from school around 3:00 pm back home and stay with them until back from work.
