The following email was received in response to a listing on an Au Pair website. This is a scam, no vacancy exists the scammer will try an scam you out of money by asking for fees or travel costs or accomodation costs.

My name is Mr Garry Rowland 39 Years Old & Why my Wife name Linda Rowland ,Will are a Happy family with 2 children currently named Sarah and Joy will live in United State Of America Stafford FLORIDA State:13852 LAKE POINT DR CLEARWATER,FL,33762 .We are an easy going fun family with a fairly hectic lifestyle! Let me tell you more about our family. Sarah (6 years old) goes to school 5 days a week. she is a good little boy most of the time.she likes to tell stories, paint and play in general.Joyl (3 year old) is still developing her personality but so far she seems like a typical little boy. Joy is the newest addition and will be 3 years old when you start. she is sleeping through the night now and that is always good. Since we have 2 little ones, we need someone who is up to the challenge. It is a lot of work but the reward is also great. In the time that you spend as part of our family you will witness the most wonderful things. In exchange for your hard work you will be respected and will be part of our family. You will have your own space and time for yourself. You will have access to a car and we will do our best to make sure you have fun while you are here. You will be our fifth au pair and you are welcome to contact our prior au pairs. We try to have as few rules as possible but there are some. We believe a good au pair follows our parenting style. We have routines for all our children. Our kids generally wake up and go to bed at the same time everyday- we believe this is very important for children. Meals also are at roughly the same time each day. We use “time out” as our main form of punishment. We like to keep things generally neat so everyone cleans-up after themselves. These are the basics when it comes to our family. We believe in honest communication with no hard feelings. If we do not like something we will tell you and hope you do the same. My Husband is an emergency doctor and Am a Teacher in a college. I works shifts meaning that means i works a set number of hours each month including some nights and weekends. But my work is regular Monday through Friday. Although we normally busy, it does not mean that we are never home. In fact, one of us is often home. i will be working 5 days per week times so you will often be together when working. We do not have many hobbies or outside interest other then our kids. We spend most of our free time with them. Our house is nice with a lot of space. Your room would be on the third floor and you would have your own bathroom. The main living area is on the first floor and the remaining bedrooms are on the second floor. Our computer is in the main living area. We have a pool and nice back yard. There is plenty of space for you to "get away" when not working. We will provide you with a cell and also have your own computers. Once you get your American drivers license you will have a car to use. It is a Chevy Prism- it is small by American standards but is a good size. You can use the car when you are not working. We have rules for the car but they are not too bad and we can talk more when you get here. You will have to drive the kids sometimes.. Will are seeking an Au Pair who is honest, reliable, kind & considerate,Will would like some English to be spoken, but am happy to provide & pay for an English course for the successful applicant! Will are looking for someone to join our family and help take some of the day to day pressure off me so that we can all enjoy the good things of family life. As a family we enjoy barbeque (weather permitting), socializing, generally having fun, reading, computers, TV, the Girls love computer games. Food is another great love of ours - given the time I enjoy cooking. We are practicing Catholics but accept and respect others beliefs,We looking for someone to care for our 2 kids(Sarah and Joy and they are age is 6 years and 3 years) while I am at work. Am a Vet Doctor while my wife is a college teacher. We are looking for a responsible and kind person who will be patient and attentive to our Kids. Our Kids is very easy going for an infant and I work only 2 miles away from home. We hope that we can find someone who is willing to keep our Kids entertained with playtime, songs, and books. We are not looking for someone to do our household chores, however we do have two small dogs and we would leave it up to the caregiver whether or not she wished to care for the dogs as well as the baby (they are very easy to care for, but may also be kept in their kennels for the day). We would like to find someone who is comfortable with our kids and who we feel comfortable with. The job would include caring for a baby girls between 7/8am and 3/4 pm Monday through Friday. We are willing to bring our daughter to the caregiver, including feeding them we will like to pay you 1700$ every,month end for salaries and 400$ for your pocket fees every week end. Additionally take them to various after school activities - ballet, tap, jujitsu, brownies etc.. 2 eves a week babysitting (average) occasional overnight care of the children when I have to travel for work.. We have two beauitful children girls Sarah and Joy, and I currently work as a college teacher and i`m going to use an aupair to help me with our children i have them 20 days a month all day every day during the week, mostly we play, swim, go to beach house, collect shells, library, fishing, movies, and just kids stuff. We want someone who will not mind going swimming with them. Mostly I want a good loving person for them because they are my angles an i love them dearly. will need you to have a valid united states Visa and work permit and able to swim. I'll give you a car to use for the little ones and when you have your days off. I'll pay for all of vehicle expenses and gas. No worries just have fun with the little ones. I wish for you to come into my little angles life's and give them the love and attention that they both deserve. I love them big as the sky and they love me as big as the sky, and i hope you`ll show them your love as big as the sky.Care for the children in school holidays. Light housework - mainly keeping the kitchen and living room clutter free ! If you feel you could be happy in our family please let me know. Contact the Travel Agent and make inquiries about the tickets and other documents needed for your coming over from your country to the United State and get back to me via email and before applying for the visa, the documents that will be prepared by the Agent are needed at the U.s Home Office here.The documents have to be done by the Agent first and for this you have to make things faster so that your coming can be faster.
The duties I'm looking for are as follows:
1-Supervise breakfast with the children in the morning and get them off to school (Collect my 2KIDS from school at 3.40pm.)
2-Some Housework/washing/ironing as required on a daily basis
3-Supervise homework, music practice and fun activities or take children to after school activities. 4-Prepare and cook an evening meal for everyone at about 6.30-6.45 Up to two evenings child minding per week.
5-Weekends and Bank holidays would be free that there will not be much duties to carry out.
6-Occasional weekend work would be offered by prior negotiation.
I normally leave for work at 7.00am and get back at around 6.30pm although some flexibility is useful.
