Hi Lara, and welcome here! :D

I am happy that you realized that this was a scam. Unfortunately the people who operate this and other types of scams, do so anonymously from internet cafes. There is not much that can be done other than to post their information, email addresses and details of their scam on forums like this, so other people can find it if they search for it.

If you have the emails that you were sent from this person, it may be helpful to others if you would post them here.

This post was made by the same scammer who was trying to scam people with this format. It shows the lengths they will go to in order to continue their scam.
I will keep it here in tact so our visitors will see how determined they can be - Ralph

Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome to Scamwarners

We love threats of legal action :=)

As with all posts here we will investigate thoroughly before making any decision as to how to deal with this.

Please be patient while our team of investigators tend this matter

Editing to add that after investigation of your claims I have come to the conclusion that the Elizabeth Schneider named here can not be you, the Elizabeth Schneider refered to here claims to be from New York and as you are not posting from New York it can not be you.

It is very unfortunate that scammers steal people's identity like this and it is widely known that scammers use fake names as well as the real names of real people.

The facts stated in this report are that a scammer has used the name "Elizebeth Schneider" to perform an Au Pair scam.

Further to this we have provided evidence of this scam.

May I suggest you find the individual who has used your name and take legal action against him, he may be much easier to find than you might think.

Hi 'elizabeth' and welcome to ScamWarners :laugh-s:

As a 'lawyer', you will obviously know that no one has blackmailed you, so you would be wasting your time taking legal actions against us.

You also have the worst grammar I have ever seen in someone from the legal profession.

I won't expect a reply as I'm sure Ralph has banned you.

@dannah, welcome to you as well and congratulations on doing a bit of research and seeing through the scam.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hi Mellis, welcome to Scamwarners

Thank you for that additional email address, the more information we get on scammers. the harder it is for them to scam

Dannah, thank you also for the information, as to emails being deleted from your email address that would be unusual but not unheard of, the only way this can occur is if the scammer somehow knows your password, please change your passowrd and test question and answer immediately and be on the look out for anything suspicious.

If you do receive or see anything unusual, please feel free to ask about it

Here is the 2nd scripted email from the scammer.

Received from: Elizabeth Schneider <[email protected]>
It is good to hear from you. I presumed you have read my
previous mail to you thoroughly and you are up to the tasks. Before i
would like to tell you more about my family. My family is a family of
four (4) consisting my husband, my two sons and i.

My kids favourites are Bicycle Riding, playing Games and Swimming My
kids like meeting people and they are also curious(asking question
about what they don’t know) so kindly be prepared to answer their
questions. I guess you know my kids’ altitudes better now.

Concerning your traveling documents, I don’t know the
necessary documents until I contacted Immigration Company used by our
family whenever we want a Visa to travel out of New York . The
Immigration Company made me understand that you will need a J-1 Visa,
Work Permit and Tax Clearance along with a Flight Ticket to New York
before you could work and live legally in USA.Here is the Immigration
Company Email Address: [email protected]
so kindly contact them inquiring about the necessary documents and the
cost of the documents needed to enable you to work and live legally in
USA.

Please Note that I wouldn’t be the sole-person to pay all the
traveling expenses needed for your traveling documents. There are
several au pairs who finds family that would help them in securing a
Visa while they are not really coming to USA with the intention of
taking care of kids as they would rather grab a more lucrative job
when arrive at New York City. It would be expecting the Immigration
Company response so we could proceed with your traveling documents.

I do have some questions for you:

(i) Have you been an au pair before?

(ii) When exactly can you start the job?

(iii) Can you send me your home address?

(iv) Can you send me your pictures and I will send ours as well?

(v) Do you really like taking care of kids?

These are the questions I have for you now.

I do hope to have answers to my questions as well as the Immigration
Company response.

Thanks for your time.

Yours Truly

Mrs. Elizabeth M. Schneider

Hi everyone,

I got an e-mail like the one you're talking about but this is a new one of her...there's a new e-mail address and a new family too...this time they are looking for someone to London. Or maybe it's because I'm residing here.

Mr. Alex Collins <[email protected]>
"Mr. Alex Collins" <[email protected]>
Aupair/Nanny Needed From Collins Family's

Hello Aupair,
Good Tidings from the Collin's, We reside in London City (UK),I would like to know if you are still available for an aupair position. I've got two kids namely Sarah and James.Soon; I would be alone with the kids because my wife got a new job and would be traveling to New York where she just got a new work with the embassy over there.
You should know it's hard putting up with work and at the same time with the kids.
I would really look forward to your response as i feel you'd not let me down.
Do let me know how long you'd intend to stay and your salary/week you intend to collect.
Are you going to be staying as a live-in or as a live -out?
Do you require a visa or working permit?
Do inform me so my wife and I would know the very steps to take on this issue.
Some light home duties are also included in your daily activities.
You own your private furnished room, with a TV and also a DVD player including your toilet and bathroom and a Unique opportunity to live.
Regards to your family.
Mr. Collins.

When you get e-mails like this 1 clue can be that they don't mention where they found your details. At least for me it's suspicous...And the other thing: make sure you always google them...you may find pages like this! Thanks guys!!!
