You must go through one of those agencies if you wish to become an au pair in the United States. Please also note that the normal procedure is to first register with an agency; the agency will then 'match' you with a family.

And she send me a message with the name Allen Kuss who had the same lawyer Mac Kings. Now i know thats just a scam thanks to you.

Oh my god. I've been contacted by them just few days ago. I'm from Italy and honestly I believed him ( HE contacted me ). I'm so disgusted. There is no way to denounce it? I can't accept that they will go on doing it to other girls. Please if someone knows how to behave about this situation, contact me.

Scammers use fake names and email accounts set up with false information, and often use anonymous internet cafés as well, so it is usually impossible to find out who they really are. But even if we could discover their true identities, it is extremely unlikely that they will be arrested, because most au pair scammers are really living in Nigeria - and our own country's police are unable to make international arrests, while the Nigerian police normally focus on other crimes instead.

Therefore the best thing we can do is to publicize their scams, and warn others about them - and in this way, do our best to prevent the scammers from stealing from people.
