Subject: Au pair/Nanny Needed in UK

Dear Au pair,
We will like to know if you are still interested in the aupair
position in my family as we haven't heared from you for a while.
Here is my family profile again http://www.easyaupairviewprofilefamily96047.tk
Kindly reply immediately.

Please note that the website link does NOT link to the easyaupair.com website. It is a link to the scammer's own website, where he has faked an easyaupair profile.

His fake profile reads:

Firstly, i will like to tell you all about my family so that you'll get to know us more and then you can decide if my family is your ideal host family so that we can proceed with you.

We are a British family with a 6 year old boy presently living in Washington, USA but we will be moving to UK soon and we are looking for an Aupair that can take good care of him. I am a pastor and i spend most of my time doing evangelism all over the country. My wife has her own business and work nationwide as a surgical nurse as well but we are moving permanently to UK because i just built a new church in UK and will like to retire there as a permanent pastor of my church. Our present home address in WA is 251 Northwest 16th Street, Seattle, WA, United States. We have 2 dogs and we are a cute, funny family. Our son Dan is 6 years old and in the second Class in the school and we need an aupair that can take good care of Dan when we get to UK as we are planning to move to UK soon. We are not sure of the moving date yet because we intend to find an aupair/nanny before we move to the UK so your convinction to take the job determines when we will move to UK though we hope it will be ASAP. He is lively and very keen on sports. He plays football in a club. He is athletic, loves swimming, inline skating, tramp lining, gymnastics, cycle, etc. We like to hear music very much. We live be moving to brent street, in the beautiful London area which is a great community with excellent transport links, train in a beautiful hilly landscape. Ideal for sports, running and walking. Brent Street is located 2 km from London central, you need 15 minutes with train to London central. In brent street there are language schools also so you will not have any problem attending language classes if you wish and we will sponsor your tuition for the period you work with my family, the nearest grocery store is just 5 minutes walk. If you have a driving license, you may also use one of our cars. Also a bike rental, we can provide to you. We would be pleased if you're fond of animals, because we have two large dogs with which you shall walk but it is not a problem if you don't like animals. We expect a basic knowledge of English language and we will be glad to enrol you in an english class if you have little knowledge of english because you have to help Dan with homework. We offer payment of a language course as said earlier so you don't have to worry about that.
In the school holidays, I would ask you to have as much fun as possible with the Dan! We have a large 3 bedroom house with big garden and swimming pool. We hope to pay £12 hourly plus bus ticket worth £95 weekly and we will also provide you with a mobile phone with some inclusive minutes each month and the rest would be your responsibility. We would love a friendly, cheerful aupair with a sense of humor and fun! Your duty is basically taking care of Dan and You will be expected to work for 40 hours weekly from Monday to Friday with weekends off so in order word``w3eww32 you will be paid 480 pounds weekly. Before we proceed further we will still like you to answer these few questions. 1) What is your nationality? 2) Have you ever traveled outside your home country before? 3) Have you much experience working with kid’s? 4) Do you smoke? 5) Do you drink? 6) Do you have brothers and sisters? 7) Do you Drive? 8) Do you mind doing light cooking? 9) Can you help with shopping? 10) Can you help with housework?
Hope to hear from you soon.

This is another email from this scammer. It was not sent from the USA or UK; it was sent from Nigeria, as proven by the IP address: 41.138.173.233 - Lagos, Nigeria.

From: Fredrick <[email protected]>

Thanks for providing us with more details about yourself and i am satisfied with your response and i definitely believe you will be a good companion for our kids. Our main priority is for you to be a friendly and kid loving person and with all i have read of you so far i believe you are.
I will like you to confirm the arrival date better and let me know of that in due time so that i can also plan our schedule ahead to pick you up at the airport when you arrived. Mind you try and choose a weekend arrival so that i can be well available to give you every support necessary.
Once again we hope to pay £12 hourly and for 40 hours weekly will be 480 pounds weekly plus bus ticket worth £95 weekly.
I have decided to offer you a very high salary to enable you pay rent and municipal charges and also have some saving while living in London because we are offering a live out aupair job as we don't have provision for a live-in accommodation. We can also help you search a shared accommodation through the same estate caretaker that secured our home in brent street and get back to you. So do confirm if a shared flat will be fine for you so that we can ask for its availability from the estate caretaker immediately.
As for your stay duration we hope to sign a 3 months contract with you for a start and extend the contract if we are satisfied with your services and if you are also willing to continue working with our family but it is okay if you wish to sign less duration agreement.
Waiting to read from you.

Attached is a copy of your contract letter which you are required to fill and send back to me for review and endorsement.
I called the estate caretaker and we did make few contacts on the apartment and with the list of prizes given i think one of the cheapest of all we got cost about £89 weekly and that is 356 pounds monthly. Rent are expected to be paid in advance. According to the estate caretaker, the apartment he found you is just few houses away from us and i think that is a very good apartment for you. With the description given we understood it's comfortable because we were told it has a bed, Blanket, towels, a wi-fi internet, tv, refrigerator, gas cooker, security lights, security alarms, heater, washing machine and a bathroom.
The fact is that at the moment i can't negotiate any apartment further in advance per se, since we are yet to affirm your consent on it and more so because we understood the issue of accommodation is a first come first serve thing and their is no way we can secure one for you without your full readiness.
So do let me know if the prize is okay with you and in case you need any further information on the flat let me know as well so that i can verify more and also connect you with the estate caretaker in charge.
Waiting your immediate reply.

Thank you, mlarkin, for that additional information. I noticed that the fake Robert Mcleland is using this email address:

[email protected]

and, again, the telephone number +1-425-998-2947.

Here is another email from Fedrick/Fredrick Ferrari:

From: Fredrick <[email protected]>

We communicated further with the estates caretaker and according to his explanation we understood the flat he discussed of is about few houses away from our home. We were also told that the £89 already includes water, electricity, internet and other minor bills.
Maybe you should contact the letting caretaker yourself for more reliable description of the flat, address, photo and other facilities if you are truly interested in it because according to him he said there are so much demand on the few accommodation available and it could be given out in no time.
The estate caretaker told me that you have to pay the rent deposit in order to secure the apartment and he also told me that there are other tenants interested in renting the room and it is a first come first serve basis and it is the first person to pay the rent become the bonafied tenant of the apartment. So, you have to send the rent deposit to the estate caretaker immediately so that he can secure the apartment for you before someone else pay for it. Inform me as soon as you have secured the apartment so that i can start preparing for your arrival.
Hence, you should contact the estate caretaker immediately for details on the apartment and how to book the apartment before it is let out to another tenant. You can contact the estate caretaker via email: [email protected] or phone number +447024084896 or +447024023009 and here is also a link to view the apartment and it's details online http://london.craigslist.co.uk/apa/2887665702.html
Inform me as soon as you have secured the apartment so that i can start making arrangement on our trip to the UK.
Waiting for your immediate reply.

I received the same letter. Unfortunately I didn't even know anything, and I sent them more or less 200£. Damn, I feel so stupid now. Luckily I read this site before to give them the other code of the payment. I save 900 euros!
Anyway, I have more informations about this family: now they are called "Alvin Family". The recipient of the flat is Joanna Goodman, 78 Essex road, London, N1 8LT, UK. They told me. By the way the woman who took the money had this name, fake or not I don't know. They have this emails: [email protected]. Skype: careforacuteboy. The "estate caretaker" is: uk.flats in skype. Also [email protected] and the "woman" is Catherine Goodluck.
Yes, what a good luck! -.-
Now I realize that they are all together: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=29231
