Scams offering fake Au Pair positions

This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam.

own.

We are laid down family. My family consists of my wife(Laura), my
daughter(Trish) and my family chef(Tedd). We are fun loving family.
Trish is 2/half yrs old and she likes visiting the parks, playing
with friends and she is energetic. Your duty is the due care of Trish.
see to her after school activities and any other thing that is
necessary for her well being.

We are willing to pay £700 monthly throughout the duration of your
stay with my family. If you are interested and available to start work
as soon as possible kindly send me more information about you and
also include your names in full, your current country of residence and
also your mobile number for easy communication.

understanding, and we will be more delighted to have an Honest Au Pair
like yourself. Well, I am Mr Brad. A simple man by nature, and i live
with my Wife, Daughter and our family chef here in Bedfordshire
United Kingdom.

We am simply in search of an Honest Au Pair to help me with the upkeep
of my daughters when i am not at home.Also I think we will be willing
to pay £700 monthly throughout the duration of your stay with us.
Trish is 2/half and she is a lovely Kid. she likes visiting the parks
and all that. In fact she is energetic. We need an Au pair that is
willing to stay with my family for at least 6/12 months.

This is our first time of hiring an Au Pair so we do not know the
proceedings. But we have been advised to visit a UK immigration
solicitor to prepare a contract agreement letter between us for proof
that you are coming for work and not tour.

As a matter of time constraint, i have to make out time tomorrow to
visit a reputable immigration Lawyer to help me with the preparation
of a contract agreement letter between us. They will also handle your
travel arrangements if you accept the terms and conditions of the
contract letter between us. Attached is some of my family pictures for
your preview and we would appreciate it if you can send us some
pictures of you for my daughters preview.

Hours

should only do so with our permission. If we go out as a family, you will generally be
invited to come with us (at our expense) should you so choose your friends would not
smoke indoors and they can enjoy the Privileges you do

Duties and responsibilities

Your main duty is the due care of Trish. Arrange for play classes for Trish and friends.
See to her after school activities, play games together as well as anything else that may be
necessary for her amusement and wellbeing.

Salary

You will be paid an amount of £700 (Seven Hundred Great British Pounds) Monthly
throughout the duration of your stay with us.

Start Date

You are expected to start soon as you arrive and to stay for a minimum period of 6/12
months. If due to circumstances beyond your control or for any other reason, you wish to
leave at an earlier date than our agreement, you will be required to give one month’s
notice. If we require you to leave, subject to the conditions specified under ‘discipline’,
we will give you a minimum of one month’s notice.

Discipline

Reasons which could give rise to disciplinary measures are as follows:

Causing a disruptive influence in the household.
Job incompetence.
Conduct during or outside working hours prejudicial to our interests.
Unreliability in timekeeping or attendance.
Failure to comply with our reasonable instructions or procedures.

In the event of a need for disciplinary action, the procedure will be:

First - a verbal warning.
Second - a written warning.
Third - dismissal without need for further notice. Reasons which would give rise to
summary dismissal would be:

Theft or other dishonest offences.
Drunkenness.
Illegal drug taking.
Child abuse or neglect.

Vacation

You will have 3 weeks paid vacation after 3 months of work.
Vacation must be negotiated however, well in advance.

School

You will be enrolled at a Public School to attend a course in any language of your choice
for foreigners for the duration of your stay.

ENTRY/WORK PERMIT

A Certificate of Eligibility is important to prove that we are sponsoring your travel down
to the UK and to prove that you are eligible to take up a job position in UK before they
send you Interview Date and reference number to visit the nearest UK Embassy in your
country. The Certificate of Eligibility would be issued to you with your Appointment
Reference Number and Interview Date to visit the nearest UK Embassy in your country
for Entry approval.

You are to sign the contract after going through it and send a scanned copy via e mail
indicating your intended travel date and Airport (For Flight Booking which we shall pay
for), to Barrister Carl Aberly in charge of applications for Certificate of Eligibility for
their records and advice to us:

Here is another version of the scam. Please note:

1. An au pair does not normally need a National Insurance Number. If a person going to the UK does need a National Insurance Number, this is applied for at a local Jobcentre Plus after arrival in the country. There are no fees to pay for this.

I am sorry for my late reply. I went to the UK Home office today to
make more enquiries. I found out that for you to work here in the
United Kingdom as an Au Pair you must need a national insurance number
and a work scheme registration and it takes time to procure. But they
advised me on a simple way of procurement.

Please allow me to handle this application as your employer, But if
you think you can do it on your own then be my quest.
