It's a scam.

For starters, anyone who claims to be in UK but offers an au pair job to someone in Philippines is a scammer.
UK law only allows au pairs from certain countries. Citizens of Philippines cannot work as au pairs in UK.

Also, travel agencies do not arrange visas.

The English is very poor, and it is clear that the person who wrote those emails is not from UK. The particular mistakes suggest this person is African, which is consistent with this type of scam. The "contract" is also a clear fake.

The scammer does not want to offer you a job--he merely wants to steal your 300 pounds.

This is 100% a scam. There is no Au Pair job it's just a lie to steal your money. Just stop all communications with the scammer.

I'm glad you found the site before loosing any money. You can read more about this type of scam here viewtopic.php?f=42&t=3019
