This is a fake au pair job scam, there is no real au pair position, just a scammer looking to steal your money.

It’s my pleasure to introduce my humble family to you. We are Dutch family currently living and working in London, UK on job posting.

My wife (Helen), daughters (Stephanie and Victoria) and I would like to extend our warmest welcome to you as our potential aupair.

We are happy to contact you regarding to this job offer to take care of our daughter (Stephanie).

After going through your profile on www.newaupair.com we feel that you are the right candidate for this position. We shall need you to take good care of our daughter and treat her like your own blood and little sister.

Do write back to us if you are interested in our job offer in other for us to discus more on the details. We shall be expecting to your soonest reply.

We are going to try as much as possible to make this experience worthwhile.

I have also been contacted by this "family" and from the first minute I had the feeling that something is just not right. I am a teacher and linguist so I had more than the gut instinct that the letter was written and sent to more than one person and thus cannot be "true". There were some grammatical mistakes here and there which some would think are okay for a Dutch speaker of English but still quite suspicious. The fake address though at the end of the second or third email definitely has to give him/her away as it is (or would be if existed) easily "googleable".
It is so sad that some people fell for these scammers and in the end lose thier money. And what is even sadder is that such scammers exist.
