Scams offering fake Au Pair positions
by contraestafadores Fri Apr 20, 2012 5:54 pm

Google translate to English:

Hello, I'm really worried, I'm au pair and receive emails lately strangers, but I knew they were scams until I discovered this website. The problem is that before I realized send my resume (with phone and address), my shots, and some pictures of my titles of studies (where does the DNI). Now I have fear of what they could do with my data fraudsters, please somebody help me and tell me I should do and whether I worry or not. I appreciate it ....

Hello contraestafadores.

I see that you have now received an answer to this from Dotti, here:

viewtopic.php?f=42&t=39433

Au pair scammers write to many people at the same time, sometimes as many as 80 to 100 au pairs. Most of those au pairs will send the scammer their photos, résumé, personal details, and sometimes a passport scan as well. The scammer's inbox will be full of information from au pairs, and there is no reason to think that he will pay any particular attention to anything that you have sent him. As Dotti said, the scammer is not really interested in your documents or details; he only asks for them in order to appear more believable.

So please don't worry about this.
