Subject: RE: HELLO CONTACT THE TRAVEL AGENCY?

Hello,

I seriously appreciate your rapid reply knowing you are willing and ready to be part of my family. I really need you to come over here to assist me and my wife take proper care of my wonderful Angel since we hardly have the time for her just as I previously explained, so I would appreciate you come over here if possible before next weekend, but since you don't have visa and work permit, I would advise you contact my Travel Agency to help you for the UK Visa and Work Permit and other's document, here is the E-Mail Address through which you can contact them ([email protected]). Do not hesitate to let them know you are from me as there could be some consideration in the charges so explain all you need for the traveling to UK to them and I assure that I will assist you with half of what so ever amount needed for the processing of your Visa and Work Permit just to justify how urgent I need your services here as well as how serious I am about your coming down to work for my family as an Au Pair, so for now, do consider the job yours.

As for how long you can work for my family, well I think that completely depends on how long you would like to work here with me but left to me, I do not intend to see you off in the next 2-3 years because I really would need your services. I will be very grateful if you respond better to me. You have nothing to worry about you will be treated like one of the family and you will have 5 days to work in a week and 2 days as your off days that is to be Saturdays and Sundays. You will have the opportunity to do what ever you want to for you own good on weekends but provided they are worth doing...

I already discussed about you with my Serah, She seem to like you despite the fact that she has not yet to neither see nor talk with you. Well hope to hear from you the soonest possible.

Warmest regards from,
Paul Jones & Family.

I've also been contacted by this person just now, and immediately knew he was a scam from the very poor english and appreciate you posting his email since I always check the email in google.

Also just for all the au pairs watching its always a scam of the english is bad, they have an agency to work through, or they want you to pay for the visa........A real legitimate family will cover your visa and sometimes even the plane ticket.

Thank you JDBrits for posting about this, and for your willingness to help other au pairs.

Au pairs should also note that not all genuine families are willing to pay for visa costs, and some genuine families seek an au pair who doesn't require a visa. If a visa is required, however, this will need to be obtained by yourself from the host country's Embassy or Consulate in your own country. Always google to find the the relevant Embassy contact details, and do not contact email addresses supplied by the host family.

Also, many scammers do not include fake agencies in their scams, and many scammers do not request money for a visa. Au pair scammers invent many types of request for money, and may pretend that you need to pay for a work permit, residence card, health insurance, National Insurance number, tax clearance certificate, courier charges, deposit for an apartment - or anything else that they can think of.

Some scammers pretend that an au pair must make a Confirmation/Proof of Sufficient Funds by transfering money between a friend or a relative and themselves, using Western Union or MoneyGram. The scammer will then steal the money transfer, using the payment details which the au pair has supplied as confirmation.

To best protect yourself against scammers, please research the genuine regulations for becoming an au pair in your chosen country, and also what you can expect as an au pair (amount of pocket money, hours and responsibilities, etc) - and compare this to any offers that you receive from host families.

And never send money, for whatever reason, on the instruction of a host family or anyone that they have put you in contact with.
