Hi there,

May I know what happened finally? Did he ask any money from you? I am wondering because I received an email from a person with the same name but this time it's romance email.Let me copy it here for you to see....

My name is Engr Lewis Finlay . I am from Spain, nationalize a British .I am a Marine Engineer.I work with a Exon Mobile here in the United Kingdom and subsidiary office in New York, my late father was a contractor in building and road constructions he worked for various ministries across Asia and Europe and organizations in the past and assisted many organizations mentally and financially. i am also active in charity activities too.

i had a friend who was blessed with the help of this site and he found a partner whom he recently got married to. He knew that i was alone and he got me introduced to the site hence, i came across your profile and decided to communicate with you. i therefore pray that god may guide us on each and every step we are taking in communicating with each other.

I was married before, but lost my wife after long battle with cancer.May her soul rest in peace. I want to spend the rest of my life with someone who is friendly, honest, caring, and trustworthy and God fearing. I find very much peace and tranquility here.

I am real easy person to talk to and a loving and outgoing person.I enjoy playing sax which i do often at my leisure time. I like going to the movies, or watching movies in my room or Cabin, I like swimming, listening to music and dance to any kind of music, I sing, sailing, going bowling and also a good cook. I am a family oriented person, love children and there is more, but it would be better for you to find some things out for yourself.

It is very important for me to build a life of stability, security, and opportunity for the special person I hope to share my thoughts, feelings, experiences, dreams and fantasies with, and to offer the best opportunities for any kid that might be included in my life, both mine and that special person children, and that is my focus at this time and I also do enjoy my job though risky because we are always on the high sea.

I am really interested in wanting to know about what makes you the special person you are today, I want to know more about your family, your background, your life experiences, past relationships, your goals and dreams, your interests, and anything else you want to tell me.I want to learn about you and what makes up your heart and soul, as the friendship I want to build with you I want it to be like no other you have ever shared in or experienced.

Before enclosing this message, i would like to let you know that distance has nothing to do with our communication as long as God is there with us. i can come and meet with you wherever you are or will have you invited here. It may interest you to know that i prefer one-on-one conversation. Please tell me more about yourself, your family and everything i would need to know.
Remain blessed until i hear from you.

This friendship I want to build with you will be filled with substance, quality, spirituality, love, faithfulness and potential. We can chat in skype or yahoo messenger too so we can see each other on webcam. Remember to send me your skype name too.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Warm hug
Lewis.

AlanJones posted the original information because the person was a definite, known scammer, trying to steal money from people seeking jobs as au pairs.

Whether it's the same scammer or not, I couldn't say for certain. Scammers will copy names, photos, and even scripts used by other scammers. They may also use several sets of photos with the same name.

However, I can tell you from the email that you posted that the person who wrote you is not real. He is not a Spanish man living in UK. Both the English mistakes and certain key expressions tell me for certain that he is an African romance scammer. The best thing to do is cut off all contact with him if you haven't already done so.
