Au Pair Scam - Karine Stager

The following email was received in response to a listing on an Au Pair website. This is a scam, no vacancy exists - the scammer will try and scam you out of money by asking for fees for travel costs or accomodation costs.

Hello Aupair
My name is Karine Stager , I am a Nurse by profession and a single
mother with a kid Daione ,6 years and we live in Leceister UK, I need
you to take care of my child while i am away at work

Here is your job description

Washing dishes, including loading and unloading dishwasher
Preparing simple meals for Daione
Keeping kitchen tidy and clean, including sweeping and mopping floors
Loading and unloading laundry into washing machine
Ironing for Daione
Putting washed clothes away
Vacuuming
Dusting
Making and changing Daione’s bed
Cleaning Daione’s bathroom
Everything to do with keeping their own room/bathroom clean and tidy
Light shopping (not the entire household shopping)
Walking and feeding pets
Emptying bins

You will have to work for 25 to 35 hours per week and you will be 2
days free for the week and also be free for public
Holidays
Salary pay will be 1900 pounds monthly and additional bonuses & pocket
money will be given to you depending on how diligent you are towards
your work . You will have a room and Internet service
According to the Bristish Aupair Agencies Association BAPAA
au pair is required to required to pay their travelling cost to and
from the UK but due to global crisis and experience i have had in the
past , i will be responsible for paying the fees required for securing
your visa , work permit and air ticket as well as travel insurance and
Health insurance but you will have to make a deposit of 440 pounds to
me that will be returned to you as you arrive here

Here is a reply received from the scammer

I will need your name as it appears on your international passport
and also you will have to make the deposit of 440 pounds by Western
Union in my name , this deposit will be returned to you when you get
to the UK. After contract have been signed and deposit made i will
be needing your passport information and every other personal
information to get your visa and work permit in place and i will book
a ticket for you on a preferred date you want to fly
