Kevin Johnson - Looking for a Cleaning Lady!!

I recieved an email from a Kevin Johnson & wife Michelle Johnson. Who lives in the UK. Who is a film artist. Who moving for contract work in States he said. They are newly weds. Having a child in four months.

He replied to free ad. I had posting my house cleaning. He asked me to send a resume. I now regret that. Another lady on here had emails abit similar. I don't want my identity stolen.

He told me my duties: Get the keys from his finance person. Get everything ready. So, I had to email Name, Address, Age, Birthday, Phone number, and my Acceptance of offer. I was to have ready when they arrive food,
applicances, art gallery(that's so personal) 1st red flag went up.

What was strange was he was locating to the States was mentioned in his second email.
I replied, I'm sorry I would love to help but... I live in Canada (Toronto)

Today he responded it's Toronto I'm moving too. I'll contact you when the house deal closes. (inform you of all the details) Something seems strange. 2nd flag.

What do you think??

It's a standard fake check scam. He wants to send you a fraudulent check, instruct you to cash it, and wire most of the cash, with the excuse that it is to purchase something needed for the (fake) house, or pay someone related to the (nonexistent) move.

Later, when the fraud is discovered, you would be left holding the bag--and you would have lost all the money you sent, when the bank takes the money back.

I will be offering you $400 weekly payment, i will be needing your services for 4 hours at any suitable time of yours , Tuesday and Saturday. If you believe you are fit for this position in as much you will prove yourself to be a reliable ,responsible and good person, I have a financier that is based in the States and he will be handling the payment and some other expenses. I will instruct him to pay for the first two weeks before my arrival so as to secure your service

My financier will be making out a check to you before my arrival, you will be receiving an overpayment bank check which you will deduct your pay for the first two weeks and you will be using the remaining to buy foodstuffs,art galley,home appliance and other things needed in the house ,you will getting this foodstuff on the day of our arrival which is July,25th 2012. Actually our flights from England will arrive at nights so you will be getting the foodstuff in the morning and making all other preparations.

I just bought the house and as soon as all the paper work is finalize and i will instruct my estate agent to mail the keys of the house to you so that you can do all other necessary preparations before we arrive, I will also email you the shopping list after you received and cashed the check okay..

You have to get all this shopping before our arrival so that we wont have to start running around when we arrive, So my financier would be needing the following Information to make out the check

I received the same email from a Kevin Johnson (using the email [email protected]) and his wife Michelle Johnson who was said to be 5 months pregnant. Definitely a scam. I am now regretting not being smarter about this and paying attention to the first red flag.
