Based on the salary alone, this is a scam. The salary is way too high for an au pair in the UK.

Add to that the fact that the language has some distinct African traits and it's 100% a scam.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hello sexyjr_17, and welcome to ScamWarners.

Au pair scammers write to dozens of au pairs at the same time, and most of these au pairs will send them their résumé, their photographs, and sometimes even a passport scan as well. The scammers usually make a note of au pairs' telephone numbers, but apart from that, they are not really interested in anything which is sent to them. They only ask for these things in the hope that it makes them appear more believable.

The scammer's inbox is undoubtedly full of au pair details, photos, and documents - there is no reason that the scammer will pay any particular attention to anything that you have sent to him. If you stop all contact with him, he will soon forget about you, and he will focus instead on the au pairs who are still writing to him, and who he still hopes to steal money from.

For anyone who is considering becoming an au pair in the UK, and who will require a visa, it is good to check to see whether this is actually possible. Citizens of very few countries are eligible for a visa to be an au pair in the UK. You can read about this here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ityscheme/

If you also click on 'Conditions of your stay' on the left hand side of that webpage, you will be able to confirm that this is the correct visa for au pairs.
