Dear Au pair,

We would like to expand our friendly and open family to receive you as a new member, we would like to discuss the aupair job with you and we will need you for at least 3 months or more however, if you like you are very much welcome to stay longer.

We are based in England, United Kingdom where we work and live. We have 3 kids Vivian, Martina and Jessica. Due to our busy work schedule, We would like an aupair to look after our little angels carefully and do light housework when they are asleep, That is the reason why we decided to choose your profile at www.aupair-options.com You shall be provided with accommodation and a weekly pay of 350GBP, Other benefits may be added.

We would like our au pair to be a part of the family during their stay and teach us about their culture and language. We need an au pair that is active, outgoing and happy to take our kids to outdoors, for a walk, play with them, sing songs, read books and keep them lively,

We would give you more information as soon as we hear from you. In your reply, please include a recent picture of yourself and an introduction letter.

With Love

Kelvin and Rita Harris

Hello auraandrea!

Yes this is a scam! The spelling and grammar is actually pretty good for a scammer but the pay 350£ is about 4 times too much. Typical pay for an AuPair in the UK is around 80 to 90£ a week pocket money. Not only that but a very similar email has been already posted here http://www.scamwarners.org/forum/viewto ... 4&p=110442 the names have just been changed.

Glad you got suspicious! Can you please post the scammers email address? It will help others avoid the scammer.

As you can see from:

Hostname: nm23-vm5.bullet.mail.ird.yahoo.com
Services: Likely mail server

That IP address is one of Yahoo's own IP addresses. Other emails from this scammer show clearly that he is sending his emails from Nigeria.
