This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam. These emails were not sent from the UK; they were sent from Nigeria, as proven by the IP address: 41.138.169.191 - Uyo, Nigeria.
This scammer uses several of the same photographs and the same telephone number when pretending to be other host families. You can see this here:

The telephone number, like all telephone numbers which begin +44 70, is a redirect telephone number. It redirects all calls to the scammer's mobile phone in Nigeria. The scammer pretends that he is Norwegian, because he hopes that au pairs will think that his Nigerian accent is a Norwegian one.

Reasons for looking for an au pair is because we need help looking after our children. We are looking for an au pair to be a big sister or brother to our children and to become another member of our lovely and happy family. We promise you as your host family that you will stay comfortably with us because we are God fearing and by the special grace of God we are a Christian family.
My name is Kelvin Harris and I am 35 years old, I work as a Consultant Doctor and My spouse Rita Harris is 29 years old and she works as a Nurse.We are Norwegian fun loving family living in Manchester City, UK and we would enjoy it if you are a person who enjoys doing lots of stuff with the kids, coloring in, going cycling, playing outside, reading stories, etc. Our prime objective is to get our children to be happy, independent little beings and this is where we want you to help us. This would also naturally mean that sometimes you would have to help with household chores, because we also enjoy spending time with the kids.
In our residence at Manchester city, we are living in four bedroom house and we have 3 children, they are 4, 3 and 1.8 years old.
Vivian, Martina and Jessica, the kids like to go to the parks once a week and we would like you to take them.
We will require you to take care of the kids for about 30hrs a week. You will have weekends free and we will pay you £350 per week, with pocket money which we will give to you every Friday.
Our residence is very open and near the city and there are other au pairs close by. There is also a good language school and we will encourage you to go for lessons there to learn English or any Language if you wish to. But in your case I think you would need to learn English. In the area there is one pub full of young people, a shop/post office and a hall where people get together to have parties. There is also a bus stop outside our house with direct access into the city center.
I know you might find other families that might pay a bit more than I do, but I honestly believe you will not find another family who will look after you as well as we do and make you feel at home.
You will eat and dine with us freely, you will have your own bedroom and your own bathroom either live in or live out fully furnished, plus desk phone and computer system with internet.
We do not have any pets and we do not smoke as long as drinking is concern. My children attend kindergarten and their school is just some kilometers away from home, My little angels goes to school from 10am to 4pm which means they stays 6 hours in school so all you need to do is to take them to school when it is 10am then come back and take care of your own needs and when it is 4pm you will be required to go and pick them up also with regards to your English course it last for just 2 hours.
Saturdays and Sundays will be your free days and your salary will be 350GBP per week i don't know if this will be OK for you but that is what we can offer for now and we don't know how it goes because this is our first experience therefore your pocket money will be giving to you every Friday for your upkeep, we are loving, nice and reputable family so with time we might decide to add a little thing to you depending how caring you are to our children because we cherish them so much.
We need an au pair to start with us soon and stay until at least 3 months or more. We will need you to drive our second car if you can and we shall arrange some driving lessons for you when you arrive. You may use this car for taking the kids to school and for your private use. There would also be medical insurance vacation and other benefits which would be included in the contract
My Barrister works with the UK Home Office and that is good for us as she informed me that you can get all the relevant documents which can enable you get down here in a month time, so you can start a month from now. She said she would get back to me with detailed information to go about employing an au pair including the necessary steps to take to acquire legal au pair work and residence documents for the United Kingdom.
