This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam. These emails were not sent from the USA, they were sent from Nigeria, as proven by their IP addresses, eg 41.206.12.56 - Lagos, Nigeria.

Do not send money to any agency, embassy, lawyer, or other person introduced to you by a potential host family.
The agency is also fake, and is part of the scam.
There is a genuine au pair agency called Au Pair in America (also known as the American Institute for Foreign Study), which is one of the US Government's designated sponsor agencies. But the genuine agency does NOT use the email address [email protected] - this is another email address belonging to the scammer.
The phone numbers 206-203-1796 and 206-337-6944 are also used by the scammer pretending to be the following host families:
