This is not a genuine au pair opportunity; it is a scam. These emails were not sent from the UK, they were sent from Nigeria, as proven by the IP address: 195.219.3.162 - Nigeria.

Please note that the contents of this email from the scammer are untrue. A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA) has the right to live and work in the UK providing they can support themselves without becoming an unreasonable burden on public funds. This includes being an au pair in the UK. You can confirm this here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/eucit ... sibilites/

A work permit, tax clearance, or residential permit is NOT required.

Citizens of Bugaria and Romania (only) will need to apply for an Accession Worker Card. You can read about this here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/eucit ... iveworkuk/

Health Insurance is not required, but European Citizens are strongly advised to apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before going to the UK. You can read about this here:

https://ehic.com/

If you require any further health or travel insurance, please arrange it yourself, in your own country, before travelling.

Subject: We Really can't wait to meet you

Hello,

Thanks for your response, and i also called the embassy here because if you can work here without permit i will be happy too, so that we wont go through stress and money.

But i was told that as a member of European Union you can only come to the country as a visit for a while also, if you come you will need to seek for a work permit, before you start working or else i will be the one to be penalized if you are caught working without permission to work also to extend your visa status.

I hope you understand this now because you know your embassy is different from the UK, and they change law here almost everyday.

According to the Embassy you will pay 1000 pounds for the processing fee of the Work Permit,Tax Clearance,Residential permit and Health Insurance documents which includes your flight ticket, also am willing to help you pay 600 pounds so you will pay the rest 400 pounds, i hope that is ok by you, i have heard of different situations whereby after aupair receive their traveling documents and they wont come but am doing this because of the way you talk on your email, and i believe you wont disappoint me, so you will be paying 400 pounds for the processing fee.

Here are the Information's Needed by the British Embassy for the processing of your Traveling Documents:

-Full Name:

-Full Address:

-Phone Number:

-Age:

-Nationality:

-Country:

-Scanned copy of International Passport:

I have made arrangements to also give you some token when you come here to cover any cost that you might have spent, am doing this because have paid for a nanny before and never came and was later told not to help anyone. but by the way you reply shows to me you are serious and hardworking thats why i choose to pay half for you.

If this arrangements is ok by you please get back to me so that i can ignore all other inquiries

Warm Regards

Hugh
