Welcome here BettyNelao.

That email address doesn't show up in a google search. Could you please post the emails you got from Fredrick Dawson? And also the emails you got from Andrew Nuzzo? Then we can determine wether they are scammers or not.

Being a victim doesn't mean you stand alone. We're here to help you.

We now have a warning posted about the scammer calling himself Andrew Nuzzo, which can be seen here:
http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewto ... 42&t=52350

You can also read a warning about Dr Mark Clinton here:
http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewto ... 42&t=51859

And about the Collins Dale family here:
http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewto ... 42&t=39387

As David said, though, please do post the introductory emails you received from Fredrick Dawson. We should be able to tell from these whether or not it is a scam.

In the meantime, it may be useful for you to know that only citizens of Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Monaco are eligible for a visa to be an au pair in the UK. You can read about this here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ityscheme/

If you also click on 'Conditions of your stay' on the left hand side of that webpage, you will be able to confirm that this is the correct visa for au pairs.

Here is an example of an email from Fredrick Dawson. Yes, it is a scam.

The Proof of Sufficient Funds is bogus, and all money transferred by Western Union or MoneyGram will be stolen by the scammer. The scammer is able to collect the money himself, using the details on the transfer receipt, regardless of which name the transfer was made to.
