Hello kazcar and welcome to ScamWarners.
Thank you for taking the time to warn other au pairs about this scammer. Many au pairs google the email addresses of their potential host families or other email addresses which they have been given - so please can you post the email addresses used by this scammer, plus an example of one or more of his emails; this would be very helpful to others.
Scammers write to many au pairs at the same time, usually sending them identical emails, right up to the email in which a payment is demanded. Therefore posting the first introductory email sent by the fake Dr Richard Solomon, plus the first or second email from the fake barrister, would also be very useful.
I'm glad that you and your daughter recognised that it was a scam, and didn't have any money stolen by this criminal.
