I was registered on aupair world and several time later i received an answer from a host family from miami who told me that they canceled their profil on aupair world but was asking me if I was still available. Fortunately I write the name of a man from the "agency" "Mike Davis (International Relations Officer)
For: Au Pair America, Inc".I had to contact to get a visa and I could read one of the topic of a scam by the woman of a host family sarha martin. I give you the letters I received.

My name is Mary. I work as a Senior Physiotherapy Nurse in a Hospital Company in here in Miami,
while my husband is a lawyer. I am down to earth,blunt and take things the way they come.I am a very
friendly person and easy to get along with.You will have no problem in adapting to our lifestyle here.I
would love you to see me as your sister.so that we can leave as a family.We will be needing your services
due to the time commitment that is demanding by our job.
Sheila is three years, we just enrolled her at a kindergarten school for this summer..She is welcoming
and though she is young,she has a warm and friendly attitude.she like s playing a lot and I do not think
you will not have any problem with her so far she eats and plays well. Juliet is six years old, she's in
her second year in elementary school.She likes outdoor activities playing with her toys with our neighbors
and she also enjoys watching cartoon movies. Juliet also likes playing a mother role cos she's always with

Your job is not a hard one,I do not believe in supervising or monitoring people to do their job.I
believe people should be giving a free role in whatever they do. So I believe you should be able to
perform well without being told. All entails preparing the kids for school in the morning,taking Juliet
and Sheila to the point where the school bus picks them up to school.You will have a free period then
whereby you can do any vocation or practice whatever is at your disposal. Then you help monitor them after
they are brought home by the school bus,just to make sure they are alright till my arrival from work.
Morning: help children get dressed,feeding,prepare for morning activities<school,play class etc.
Afternoon:participate in other activities ,library,swimming lessons,read books and Bible,play games,listen
to music
Evening: help prepare dinner,give them baths,help them put on pajamas, help them with any projects and
school activities.
You have every weekend as your off day as my husband will not be going to work weekends except special
overtime and we will also permit you on the 40 days vacation without pay if the need arise for it but you
will have to give us at least a month notice before you commence on the leave.
You will be entitled to a pay of $1250 every month while you will also be given an entitlement of $100
every week for petty expenses which you
might need for yourself..This salary is subject to negotiations for an upward review upon your arrival and
week can actually get it high to about $1950 if we discharge your duties with all levels of seriousness.
I will like you to answer these Questions:
When to start? - "This is actually open to both of us so i will like you to tell me when you will be free
to start up but if it is possible for you to start as soon as possible that will also be welcome"
I will like to also know how long you intend to stay with us?. Then Concerning your Visa and other travel
documents( work permit insurance etc.), I have a solution to it but i will need you to provide answers to
my questions so that i will be able to know what type of visa we may need and when to start processing it.
Can you please send me some of your pictures?
A well furnished bed room will be made available for your personal use soon as you get here. TV and other
necessary gadgets at your disposal.There will be enough privacy for you,i guess you'll really like it.
We have cars and you can actually use one which mine a Toyota Camry but you will have to get use to Left
hand driving Wheel system here in America, there are also public transport and other necessary means of
transportation.
You will be free to study in any school of your choice soon as you get here.

Thanks so much for the response.I am so sorry about your experience in China and i am so sure nothing like that will happen when you are with us. I understand completely if you are nervous about this, am sure we will all feel very nervous when such opportunity comes our way but I want to be excited and beat off your nervousness as we will love to have you in our home as our Au Pair, we hope that you accepting this chance of living in our home and helping us with our kid, we live in a big City.Our Home is not big, we have 5 bedroom and bathroom with the living room me and my Husband share a room while my kids have separate rooms and we actually made out one room for visitors while the last was for free but we have since 2008 redesigned and set it up for our Au Pair but we never really had one. We have cars and you can drive if you can.No problem if you don`t have driving licence as we can easily get one for you here if you can truly drive.You can bring your computer if you want to, but we have provided one for you here in your room and you have internet on it as well, so you can connect to your friends and families at home.
As regards the question you asked, "we can actually get it high to about $1950 if we discharge your duties with all levels of seriousness, what u mean by this is that we can increase your salary upto $1950 when you get to us if you discharge your duties very well when you are with us. we have had an aupair before by name Piera Mitchel but i have lost contact with her at the moment. My husband is a very loving and caring man, and moreso he is the gentle type i am so sure you won`t have problem with him. In fact he will over pamper you that you won`t want to leave our family. All these you wont know until you get here and see his character.
Sheila and Juliet are calm although they can be naughty at times but i am sure you will enjoy your stay with them as they are jovial and welcoming. I told them about you already and they really can`t wait to have you around.They don`t do sport regularly but they love playing with each other and watching cartoons.And during the weekend the family goes to parks or cinemas to see some movie and have some nice time. You will also be opportuned to follow us to the cinema if you are with us.and at times we do set out to play Tennis as my husband love it and we are trying to train Juliet and Sheila on it. The kid`s school resume by 8am and they close by 2pm,around this time you will be free to attend your language class which we will enroll you in.I will be on the look out for the one that is closest to us. They have no medical problem or allergy so i won`t want you to be scared. We don`t have any pet in our house. My lifestyle is very simple. I just love honest and hardworking people. I am not so obssessive with tidying up but i so much love it when you are neat.We stay on Flagler Street in Miami. You really need to come and see our beautiful my town is. You will have to help with some chores when i am not around at home and when i am back or when my husband is back at home you will be relieved of some chores. I choose you because after reading your profile on aupairworld, i feel you will be the best person to be an aupair in my family and i really love the french. Maybe you will teach me some french when you are with us. I am not from France neither my husbansd as well,i am an american. You will have to work only when the kids are at home lik i stated in my last mai, when the kids are going to school and when the kids are back from school before i get back from work.I have skype but i don`t use it simply because of my tight schedule and more importantly because of the huge time difference between us. Since you got some months to spend in our home if you eventually choose to come with us, I will suggest that we begin the processing of your Travel documents now so that we don't loose more time if we start close to when you are coming I am sure you that the process takes time and again we will be sure that you want to come in to our family.And more so tickets booked earlier are cheaper.So Concerning the Visa, flight and other traveling documents we will have to get them through an agency because of our past experience: so it will only be perfect to apply through them, they helped us with our last Au pair and it was very great and also very secured patronizing them. We want to make sure that you have a valid visa so that when you get to the US Embassy there wont be any hitch whatsoever. We had our first Au pair In the year 2008 from Croatia that processed an invalid visa and was later caught some few weeks after staying with us which cost us so many Court cases, please in that case i hope you are okay with this security measure.
