There are many indicators marking this as a scam, the 2 that are easiest to spot are;

The email address used by the scammer is a free email address that is commonly used by scammers and never real lawyers.

Then there is the 4470 phone number, numbers starting with 4470 are UK redirect phone numbers, these can be set up by anybody from anywhere in the world for free, calls to these numbers are redirected to the owners location, wherever that may be, by doing this, the scammer can appear to be in the UK rather than Africa which is where they more than likely are.

Your responsibilities/typical weekly schedule:

My ideal Au pair must have experience with children and enjoy spending time with them and should be responsible, active and have a positive attitude. I will need my Au pair to work 20 hours a week. The typical schedule will involve getting Karis back from school, making her lunch, and taking her home after school activities. You will also need to get Karis dressed, feed her, and play with her throughout your working hours. We are an active family and would like our Au pair to take the girl outside to play or on walks at least once a day if the weather is nice. We are a very neat family so I would like my Au pair to help keep the girl's room tidy and do the girl's laundry, dressed, feed her, and play with her.


My families' interests and weekend activities:
We are a very active family and we like to go to concerts, see plays at the local community theater, play tennis on weekends and take hiking trips. We would love to have an Au pair that enjoys swimming as we go to the beach at least twice a month in the summertime and Karis likes to spend the entire day splashing around in the ocean pretending to be a mermaid. Lilly (the family dog) loves Karis and we all go to the park on Sundays. We hope you love the outdoors and pets too. We try and sit down to dinner together as a family each night and talk about the days events. This is very important family time and we hope to have an Au pair who enjoys being part of our family.


My home description /community:
We live in ABERDEEN CITY -SCOTLAND, is a lovely suburb with tree-lined streets. Our town is quiet, and very safe. There are also a lot of fun activities for you to do nearby in your spare time. There are 2 major shopping areas, beautiful parks, great restaurants, quiet cafes and many other entertainment spots. There are also 2 colleges where you can enroll in courses.
