Hi cali,

This is a definite scam - the use of a +44 70 phone number gives it away. These are personal redirect numbers that can be redirected anywhere in the world (in this case probably to Africa).

The reason that the email was't addressed to you personally is that it was bcc'd to you and a number of other people at the same time. (another sign that it is a scam).

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Yes, it's a scam. 4470 is a free UK number that forwards calls to another phone anywhere in the world.
It doesn't show your email address as it was entered in the BCC field. Which means that it was send out in bulk, without showing all the email addresses.

I have been scammed by a Paul Adams who says he is Swedish, hoping to settle in England, very rich, many cars, 2 houses. He gave a p hone number starting by 70.....

I sent him some of my pictures and I am afraid he is going to use them to scam men.

Dont send any picutres.

He sounds very nice but it's all a scam. The nice pictures he sent are not his.

Hi Madeleine, welcome to Scamwarners.

I am sorry to hear that you have been scammed but glad you now know that it was a scam.

Please do not reply to any of his emails regardless of what he tells you, he may send threats or make promises to try to get you to send money but you need to be firm and ignore him.

While it is not ideal that he has your pictures, he is not likely to actually use them unless they are a particular type of picture that he would be looking for, scammers playing the part of a woman are looking for pictures of extremely attractive girls ranging from 20 to 30 and generally no older, they like to have some pictures that are revealing or naked and do have a preference for photos where the girl looks like a model.

Without seeing your pictures or knowing what you look like and trying not to sound offensive with a sensitive issue, unless you fit the criteria of what the yare looking for the scammer is unlikely to use your pictures.

If you could please post any details of your scammer we may be able to give you more information on his scam but just as importantly it may prevent somebody else from being scammed.

If you have any questions at all, please ask
