GREAT AU PAIR!! SCAM?? PLEASE HELP

ABOUT US
I'm a Social researcher here in LONG BEACH CA while my
husband works as a consultant.I am down to
earth, blunt and take things the way they come.I am a very friendly
person and easy to get along with.You will have no problem in adapting
to our lifestyle here. We will be needing your services due to the
time commitment that is demanding by our job. We want you to know that
you'll never have any cause to regret taking up this job.


THE KIDS
Joey is Three years, we just enrolled her at a kindergarten school for
this summer..She is welcoming and though she is young,she has a warm and
friendly attitude.she like s playing a lot and i do not think you will
not have any problem with her so far he eats and plays well.Sarah is
six years old,she's in her first year in elementary school.She likes
candy,chocolate and she likes watching cartoon movies.She also likes
playing a mother role cos she's always with me in the kitchen.She pays
rapt attention to all i do and tries to mimic those acts she sees me
perform in the kitchen,laundry and other activities.She is very
intelligent and loves to take after people,this is the more reason i
will appreciate someone with good qualities to be her aupair so that
she doesn't take to bad influence.Their father,like me plays a very
active role in their life.Funny enough,Joey is mostly with his dad
except during meals or
while Sarah is mostly with me in the kitchen.

SCHEDULE
Your job is not a hard one,I do not believe in supervising or
monitoring people to do their job.I believe people should be giving a
free role in whatever they do.So,I believe you should be able to
perform well without being told.All entails preparing the kids for
school in the morning,taking Sarah and Joe to the point where the
school bus picks them up to school.You will have a free period then
whereby you can do any vocation or practice whatever is at your
disposal.Then you help monitor them after they are brought home by the
school bus,just to make sure they are alright till my arrival from
work.

SALARY
You will be entitled to a pay of $2500 every month while you
will also be given an entitlement of $100 every week for petty
expenses which you might need for yourself..This salary is subject to
negotiations for an upward review upon your arrival..

ROOM
A well furnished Master bed room will be made available for your
personal use soon as you get here.there will be your personal laptop
connected to the internet, TV and other necessary gadgets at your
disposal.There will be enough privacy for you,i guess you'll really
like it.

WHEN TO START
You are free to start as soon as possible,I will appreciate you coming
immediately but any date of your choice will also be welcome.

OFF DAYS
You have every weekend as your off day as i will not be going to work
during weekends except special overtime.

STUDY
You will be free to study in any school of your choice soon as you get
here.I will be helping you as regards tuition fees.There are so many
colleges and Universities here that offer good and qualitative courses
here.
Let me know if you are ready to take up this position and how soon you
can make it here.Do you have a valid visa and other necessary to
travel down here?

I'm glad that your radar was working enough to cause you suspicion. For the first person you asked about, can you post the letters? The name and the fact that he is looking for an "assistant" are red flags, but we would need to see the letters to be certain.

The katy james letters are definitely a scam. The scammer is definitely not American, and very much looks African based on the writing. There are actually many pointers that indicate this is a scam, but one of the most obvious is the description of the children. 3-year-olds do not go to kindergarten, and kindergarten is not summer school.

Ultimately this would turn into a visa scam--"Katy" would set you up with an agency or an "attorney" and you would be expected to send money to them to process your visa, etc. Of course no visa would come--your money would simply disappear, and so would the scammer (at least under this name). Please post any email addresses and phone numbers you have for "Katy James", and stop writing to this scammer for your own sake. Do not tell him (it is most likely a man, not a woman) that you know he is a scammer, and do not point out his/her mistakes. Just don't write back to him again.

As with most scam emails, the early emails are scripted and sent to many people, the details will be modified by the scammer in an attempt to stay legitimate looking but searches on parts of their emails will often reveal them as scams.

If you were to do an exact search on that line you will see 8 hits, one of them is posted here viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2904 as it turns out it is another au pair scam, possibly the same scammer

Another user was asking about an offer from Raly, but she decided to take the discussion offline. Could you please post (or if you aren't comfortable posting, send by PM) the letters from Raly so we can give you appropriate information? I believe there is reason to be suspicious, but without seeing the letters, can't say with certainty.

It sounds to me like a name invented by a scammer. Peranio is ok, but Raly doesn't ring true.

Unfortunately, I have had some conversations via pm with the other users asking about him, and I have no doubt that Raly Peranio is indeed a scammer.
The other user was not able to get full headers from her email provider. Could you post the full headers from the email you received?

It is all , we called together but we dont write more....so he told the same things to others...

What do you think abpout this woman? isn´t she a scammer?

IT`S SPAM OR NOT? please help.

It is a scam! If you respond, you will eventually be asked for personal details, your passport, maybe your bank account details and/or money to process a visa.

Please do not reply to this person as you could easily become a victim.

If you have received an email from them, could you please post the email address they sent from & the headers. We can then tell where they really are - but I can say for certain they are NOT in Twickenham.

To add to Crispy Duck's request--can you also post the other emails you received? Also, please remove your own name and email address when you post.

Emails are often scripted, and they will send the exact same email to others. Posting scam scripts will also help others to avoid being scammed.

I really did not understand what address i need put here , and the other letter are many.
