Scams offering fake Au Pair positions

Dear Scamwarners,

I got a very strange letter from the guy who is also registered in the dating site I am with.He even send me a photo of him together with the daughter. I hope you can help me solve if this is a scam before I can make any actions that I will regret right after. I will attach the letter from him and also from the agency he refer to me.
I will appreciate the help you can give me. Thank you and more power.

A letter from the employer:

Hello,
Am sorry for offering you this way but am urgently in need of a nanny,I

got your profile in this site,My names are Engineer Kelvin Dunn from

London, UK. Am a single parent blessed with 1 lovely daughter. Am a

widower and I reside in 129 Great George Street in Bristol here in

London.Am sorry if this sounds strange or new to you,am urgently seeking a

service of a nanny for my daughter, Don't worry I'll tell you lots more

about her as soon as we get on. I've had Asian nannies before and they

really served us well, my daughter really enjoy their stay here. Thats the

more reason why am getting another replacement.
I'll be offering a salary of Seven Hundred and Fifty Pounds Sterlings

(750gbp),weekly and will provide monthly shopping allowances as well as

accommodation.. Please if you are really willing to come and work for me

here ASAP do email me back. Remember you'll have to have a passport ready

to get down here. I don't really need an expert or a professional to look

Hi Leny,

This is 100% a scam.

The scammer wants you to spend $1,600 aparently for fake travel documents. Please see this post here viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3019 for details of how the scam works.

There is no job and there also is no daughter - all there is is a scammer sitting in an Internet cafe somewhere (probably africa) trying to get your money. The picture that he sent has just been stolen from the Internet somewhere.

Please cease all contact with this scammer all he is after is your money.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
