Is this a scam?

[email protected]

My husband and i needs an au pair to come to United Kingdom. We have our little SON Roland that will soon be 2years old to look after. In our family there is myself, my husband and our
Son. We also have plenty of extended family that we see regularly. My
husband and I are both active and enjoy golf, tennis and running. You
would have your own room with a separate entrance.

We would like an au pair to look after Roland carefully and do light
housework when he is asleep That is why we decided to choose your
profile at easyaupair.com. You would have access to a car and may
need to take Roland to school, appointments, activities and outings. We
would like our au pair to be a part of the family during their stay
and teach us about their culture and language.

We would like an au pair that is active and outgoing that is happy to
take Roland outdoors and for walks and talk to him, play with him and
read books, we need an au pair that will be good and friendly with roland and the family at large.

If you are interested in our offer kindly send your[ C.V ]and write to us soon.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards and God bless you.

If you live outside the EU then you can be sure it is a scam. It will be to try to get you to send visa money in advance . Ensure you see the UK Bordery Agency website and look at the rules. You can find a tool on the site to fil up and see if entry is possible. I currentl don't have enough yet to be 100% sure but once they mention Western Union , Money Gram and you get emails from various people saying they will get you a visa then you know it is a scam. Never send money using those methods to people on the Internet, you will lose it. Governments never use gmail, hotmail, Ymail, Yahoo etc and are not paid using any form of cash transfer. Avoid fake Barristers , they are always fake, fake couriers and send no scans of personal information. Governments only use original papers and official addresses to send them to. Make sure you are on an official site you found Yourself and not one you were sent to via an email link from a stranger. Always put such email addresses into a search to see what comes up, also chunks of text from letters. Be your own detective and also learn to check email headers and IP numbers . Guidance is freely available if you search it and even on this site too.

"We also have plenty of extended family that we see regularly."
"We would like an au pair to look after Roland carefully and do light
housework when he is asleep"
"We would like an au pair that is active and outgoing that is happy to
take Roland outdoors and for walks and talk to him, play with him and
read books, we need an au pair that will be good and friendly with roland and the family at large."

I have received emails with these exact sentances in them. It is a scam. Don't sigh anything.

Any family who asks you to contact a barrister/lawyer and asks for money is a SCAM!
