Hi there!

An hour after I signed the first au-pair website, I received an e-mail from mr. reed middleton, who found my profile and just liked to get in contact with me.
First, I answered him and then I got this Mail back:

Hello Au Pair,
I am glad to read your mail and your quick response has shown how dedicated you will be to work. I hope our communication would be a success. As regards your start date, we would appreciate if you could join my family soonest and you can further your studies here in London. However, it is left for you to decide.

My name is Mr. Reed Middleton and I am 41 years old. I work as an Engineer in an oil exploration company and sometimes I am out of the country as a result of my work. My spouse, Kate is 33 years old and works as a nurse. She picked interest in your profile and we decided to contact you. We have decided to find an Au pair because we need help looking after our child, Jesse.

We live in a five bedroom house in Brook St Mansions 39 Davies St, Westminster, London W1K 4LT, UK and have one son Jesse, 2 years old. We shall be undertaking the costs of your Flight ticket and travel documents. You shall be paid an allowance of 400GBP weekly. Accommodation and feeding shall also be provided by us.

We would like you to send us your resume to furnish us with your personal information and qualification. We look forward to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Mr. Reed Middleton

I just wanted to know where this adress is placed, so I googled it. I found some scam warnings including this adress from 2011.
Could you please help me, because I think, it is a scam and then I would not answer this man or woman or whatever again...

Yes, this is a scam! It reads like a typical au pair scam. The most typical of such a second email is that they want to give you the au pair position without asking questions. A real host family would want to know you better first.

Being a victim doesn't mean you stand alone. We're here to help you.
