Definitely a scam. The writing is West African, the pay is out of the usual range for au pairs, and the phone number is a phony number.

The phone number is the usual redirect call to West Africa/Nigeria. You need to contact your local British Embassy website. The information is all there. The UK Government are not involved in private employment matters in any shape or form. I won't say more since the scammer already gives wrong details and we want him to carry on being an ignorant T**AT. Be educated from the info you get from the right websites. If you are not a national of a country in the EU then you have absolutely no chance of working with children in the UK, neither can you get a hotel job, etc. If you have a Higher Degree, and are a specialist asking for work in your Degree speciality in the UK, you could may get a visa but only if there is no one else who can do it. Otherwise ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE. Don't let anyone tell you different and if they do- they are LIARS after your money.
Actually the work, if you qualify to be in UK, Will be long hours and for pocket money wages. T
