I have the ck they sent me along with harassing texts saying I'm a fraud and they are going to get the FBI involved if I don't wire them the money.
The ck came from Sole-Wentworth Inc
In Athens, Ohio 45701.
I don't believe this contractor website is even real???
The check itself... says, Vincennes University in Indiana. I am turning this check over to the police so we can stop this Idiot!!!

They have replied to my post on the San Francisco childcare community six times asking if I can watch their daughter and if so how much? Obviously this idiot did not even read my message that I am LOOKing for a nanny.

I happened to get caught in this but fortunately before I made any arrangements I googled her name. What I am curious about is whats the catch? So they send you a check and........ Im guessing that if you cash the check that is where the problem happens. What happened after you were threatened with the FBI. I guess I am just trying to figure out what they get out of it and where the actual scam is. If its just threatening texts thats just dumb of them. Anyone who advertises that they are putting their child into a household without knowing the people that are in the home is just crazy. Also who puts their child in a cab to transport them to a house they have never been to and to a person they have never met. Crazy.
Those who actually got the check I am interested in what happened from there.

It is 100% scam. The scammer has no intention to send a child or any other employment. He is only after your money. He is attempting to make the situation appear real.

It is a basic over payment scam. The scammer wants to send a fake check or money order. He will make the check out for more than the services. He then will have you pay his fake cab driver/agent or whoever. The scammer will request that you send money via Western Union or Money Gram. These payments can be picked up anywhere in the world. The third person is the scammer himself or someone working for him. Your bank will cash the fake the check. Days or weeks later your bank will inform you of the fraud. You will have to repay any monies withdrawn. The bank may close your account and report you to Law Enforcement for fraud.

The scammer is using a fake name, free email address and more than likely Voip to text. There is no child or cab driver.

The threats are only threats. The scammer is more than likely in West Africa or Malaysia. He only uses the threats once he sends the fake check and the victim realizes it is a scam. The victim refuses to send him money.

This person also goes by Janet Grant and is using [email protected] as a new email.. just got an email today same thing u all r getting.

This may be another ailias for this person. Wendy Jones. I appied for job that was posted on Craigslist (Bakersfield, CA). I got a reply but got this instead.
